Every other piece will get blown up after moving adjacent to an enemy and before you can attack. The AI just randomly moves and lets you win, while the Online play doesn’t tell you that it’s asynchronous. I was waiting for 10 minutes before realizing my opponent wasn’t going to move any time soon. This game has no strategic depth and doesn’t try to build the player’s skills. Although once I gained an understanding of each piece’s capabilities and how they moved it became incredibly easy. I could win against the AI every single time without fail. By moving a pawn out of the way and just rushing the opposing king piece with your knight piece you are basically guaranteed a win. So with that said, if there was a way to increase the difficulty I think it would make the game a lot more enjoyable as players get better.
