Visualization is incredibly important to some people. I am among those. I wanted to cast on my TV but the embedded YouTube video from an unlisted source meant that I had to use AirPlay.  This would only show up as 360p. I wish the developer success in this venture but until it is more fully realized and perhaps has more effort than just AI visualizations with no consistency in characters, I will ask for a refund and watch this space. This will be a great app. Just not in its current iteration.

Edit: I’m removing a star as the site has expired leading me to believe there is something going on with the developers. I hope Apple will refund me.

Update: Thank you for the response. The website that is expired is the site linked in the “contact support” button - believersjourney.org. I was only able to cast using AirPlay and in the AirPlay menu, 360p was the max quality. I requested a refund through Apple when I noticed there was no other way to contact the development team.

**Developer response:** We are sorry the casting feature from your phone wasn't working as you had hoped. As stated in the app right next to the video, if you click the gear icon in the video player, you can select a higher playback quality for a better viewing experience. Also, may we ask, what site are you referring to that expired? Nothing has changed on the app--when you contacted Apple for a refund and quit subscribing, perhaps that means you lost access to some of the paid features since you are not a subscriber anymore.

This would have been a good app if they had used a reputable Bible version. Sad.

Update: Thank you for your reply. I have updated my rating from one to four stars. I will use the app again and see how it goes.

The English Standard Version (ESV) Bible is primarily known for its "essentially literal" translation philosophy, which prioritizes a word-for-word accuracy that stays as close as possible to the original Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek texts while maintaining readability in contemporary English.

It starts out great and Iv learned a lot from it.  But it keeps freezing on me or it stops and starts.  After watching it fir a few hours it starts messing up

Trial version:  I wanted to like this, but the videos images are clearly AI, illustrations vary verse to verse. (So it’s not one continual video with the same characters, but the representation of the characters are different within the video)  Often the videos freeze and narration continues so you have to stop and start it again. This has potential but is not consistent and watching AI and the Bible seems almost blasphemous. It would be better if the app developers used cgi to animate it rather than AI to illustrate.

**Developer response:** Hey there! We appreciate you using the trial version to see if this app is for you!  We apologize that it didn't work out. As you can imagine, creating movies of the entire Bible involve massive video files and storage. The entire Bible is over 100 hours of watch time. So, yes, these videos do take a couple seconds to load. But when one watches these videos with a solid internet connection, they work just fine. And while we absolutely love the idea of hiring artists to create CGI, we are simply just a husband-and-wife team trying to bless others through the knowledge of God's word. Creating CGI for all 31,000+ individual verses in the Bible would easily take over a decade to complete -- along with a budget that we would by no means be able to afford. So we are using the technology we have access to for a good cause. Many have reached out loving the tool -- saying they have read the Bible more in two months than they have in decades of life as a believer! Another gentleman uses this tool for his autistic son who needs the visuals as an aid. We love those testimonies! Many good things are happening. =) But we are sorry this app isn't for you. We wish you the absolute best in your walk with Jesus Christ as we're all in this together!  Be blessed!

I was first introduced to Kingdom Story Films on YouTube, and the content has definitely changed my limited perspective on the patterns found in the Old Testament that points to Christ…not to mention the revelations that challenged me to go deeper into my study of the Bible. When I saw that they came out with an app, I know I had to get it!!
