Also before that, it kept saying OSS key access you provided is not enabled or something like that. ### 4/5 — Not for specialised applications *2024-06-27, version 3.5.8* Fantastic bit of app, but can’t do non-standard functionality. I try adding Oxygen and it adds OH instead. I thought deleting some of my past files would clear some space, but now it wants me to buy the premium. I really want to use the exported images for digital flashcards but the watermark gets in the way. Also, I’m hoping that a native iPad app is created in the future. With that being said, I’m working on an 12” iPad Pro and the iPhone app zoomed in works well. It hasn’t crashed and everything is still accessible. I’m just saying that a native iPad app would elevate things. There are MANY features that I find useful as a student. It’s nice that we have access to a tool like this without any extra charges. My main concern right now is the watermark because I find it very intrusive. If there is a way to remove it by some chance and I receive a response, I will gladly update my review. This is horrible. Not intuitive at all. Just terrible to use. Won’t save or export at all without mightily expanding expensive subscription. Can’t use it any more free. ### 1/5 — (Still) a keylogger *2023-05-19* KingDraw said they support the copying of drawing content to other software, so they need the copy permission. Here’s why that’s a load of fertilizer: (1) There is still NEVER an excuse to continually ask permission after a user had denied it. (2) The copy permission is for when an app DIRECTLY accessed the clipboard. It does not affect the use of the paste button in iOS’s textual context menu. It also doesn’t affect the paste buttons made with the UIPasteControl framework. Update: Great idea, deny the permission. I would do that, but this app asks for permission over and over and over again after I’ve denied it. **Developer response:** You can turn off the relevant permission request by going to "Settings→KingDraw→Paste from other apps→Deny" in your phone, but with this setting you can't open KingDraw files through the sharing link. ### 1/5 — Bitwarden ISSUE *2023-02-27* This app insists on obtaining paste access form Bitwarden (password vault) in order to proceed. This is highly suspicious and an app should not need to paste from your passwords! However, it would be more powerful if it allowed to calculate molecular weights and could serve as a structure repository for projects. If it did these things I'd pay the steep subscription price for storage. **Developer response:** KingDraw is mainly used in the field of organic chemistry. And from what I’ve seen so far, no in app purchases. But if there was I’d definitely pay. I have one suggestion which would just put the icing on the cake.
