Routine gym use now requires a pre-booked appointment via this app, which is as slow, frustrating and unreliable as the website version. Gym access is hidden behind a meaningless icon and you’ll need to log in and out repeatedly as the app is keen to charge you extra for access you’ve already paid for. This app was probably a school project that’s hosted on a fifteen year old iMac. ### 1/5 — makes the centre almost inaccessible *2025-05-27, version 2.1* when is someone going to do something with this terrible app, perhaps just delete it and stick to investing in a better website. honestly, it used to work fine before the changes. ### 1/5 — Makes using the sports facilities off-putting *2024-10-10, version 2.1* Not sure what the problem was that required an app as a solution but it’s an ineffective solution for a seemingly nonexistent problem. Makes the gym much harder to access as you can’t just tap in through the turnstiles anymore. Nothing you can do on the app that you couldn’t on the website. But is self-evidently creating new ones. The interface is so packed with irrelevant and self-aggrandising photographic images as to be practically unnavigable on a phone. One can only hope they did not pay the developers a lot of money for it.
