Music is much like the original ultima, usually first thing I do in a game is turn off the music, but not in this case. Would really love different tracks. Pay game well worth it, it's a full game with loads of play time. And not crippled by iap, other than the option to purchase full version. A true diamond in the rough. ### 5/5 — Kingturn RPG *2013-10-17, version 2.3* As a big fan of SRPGs, but not a big mobile game player, I decided to pick this up on a whim from the marketplace as an effort to have a playable game on my I-phone for when the situation allows it. I expected to like it, but didn't foresee enjoying it as thoroughly as I did. I had planned on playing it on an upcoming international flight that is a few weeks down the road, but I ended up becoming addicted to it and I'll need to purchase the next one in the series for the flight, haha. I finished it in about a week, playing a few hours a night. It certainly offered a lengthier entertainment value than I was expecting, and had just the right amount of challenge on the standard difficulty to make me have to think about my actions, but not grow frustrated with dying. I consider the purchase well worth it and look forward to picking up both of the other games in the series. Thanks for the great game, Mangobile! ### 5/5 — W O W *2013-09-29, version 2.3* This game just blew my socks off. It's got strategy, storyline, rpg, comedy, rpg, and most importantly is fun. Great game, great method of letting us try before we buy. Anyone looking to buy this on ipad, wait till October 10th when underworld is release and you can play the whole game in order. Then again, download these two already out and play through the introductions. Awesome game. ### 5/5 — Great *2013-07-15, version 2.3* Back around 2005, I had a game called Ancient Empires II on a little piece of junk Nokia phone, and I loved it. Of course, the phone got obselete and I upgraded, but had no way of loading my Ancient Empires to the new phone. So I have been looking for a clone of that game ever since. Well, now I have found it. It's easy to pass this one up, but IMO it's a must-have for strategy lovers. Great game. :D ### 5/5 — Classic look but great play. *2013-06-04, version 2.02* I cannot put this game down. If you like Fire Emblem, FF Tactics, or Shining Force, this game will not let you down. The graphics are not modern, but the tactics and gameplay are very fun. Can play at multiple difficulties and I can already tell it will have replay value. I was very hesitant to pay the 5 dollars for this game so i waited and watched the reviews. Everyone seemed to like it so i bought it throgh the iap. I tried to continue my currant game but i kept getting the message "prolouge is over please purchace". Sooo i started a new game. After 6 campains i get the same message. So i deleted the game and reinstalled. Same thing. Ive tried restoring the purchace and starting a new game. And i just got the email saying i got charged the 5 bucks. Did i do something wrong or is this broken. 5 star game but its getting 1 until its fixed ### 1/5 — Crap tactics *2013-04-20, version 2.0* Not worth $5 to buy the whole version. ### 2/5 — Fun but a rip off *2018-06-06, version 3.1* This game is fun and cool but WAY to short to justify the price. I played it periodically for about a week and it’s over. Too bad, it was a fun game but if I’d have known how small it was I’d never have wasted the money. The 2 repeatable takes get cheesy really fast. ### 2/5 — Price point too high *2015-04-11, version 3.0.2* This is a great game that is fun to play and free to download. However if you want to play past the first few battles you have to spend $4.99. There are a few better choices out there for that kind of money. ### 2/5 — so so *2013-04-15, version 2.0* gameplay is decent at best. there's a lot about this game that limits its gameplay. there's also no undo button and controls take a little bit getting used to. fun while it lasts, which isn't long. this is only the prologue, full game costs $5. ### 3/5 — 9/10 would recommend *2014-06-27, version 2.3* Great game overall (you have to pay to unlock full game, so 2 star demerit for that) Also, If you're constantly short on gold in the skirmish mode all i have to say is: Scene 211, Paladin/Mage the bridge, farm using thunderstorm/inferno. Easy 4k gold/hour ### 3/5 — Update *2014-02-28, version 2.3* Ok when the iPod updated it said I have to buy the full version again amazing game though ### 4/5 — Challenging but fun SRPG *2015-07-11, version 3.0.2* A great game at a great price point. The asking price is more than fair for zero ads and IAP. A couple of design concerns. Shopping/inventory management is pretty awkward at first. Also some party members are always picked to be in certain missions which story wise is fine but you never know who the game is picking so they'll deploy 1-3 units that might not be equipped for battle. Other than that it's all good. I'll be picking up the next in the series. Hopefully they addressed those issues. ### 4/5 — fabulous turn game *2015-06-10, version 3.0.2* rpg is always my favourite style and this game is not an exception. simple graphic but amazing game play. good jobs ### 5/5 — Enjoyable *2020-09-02, version 3.1* Challenging but very fun one you get the hang of it. Compelling story. No ads. You can play when offline. I am picky when it comes to mobile games. This game however was 100% worth the price and plays more like a PC game than a mobile game. No in app purchases! Just awesome game play. It takes about 22 hours to beat but once you do they have two fights you can continue to play after the game ends and your opponents are the level as you even as you level up. I'm getting my guys to level 99! So awesome.
