Dragoș. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 3/5 — Can't keep app out of personal contacts. *2021-11-20* I was looking to keep business contacts completely separate from personal contacts and so downloaded this to have a separate contacts app. But the first thing it wants is access to my contacts, so I don't think this will work for me. **Developer response:** Hi there, this is Dragoș, the developer of KINN. Sorry to hear KINN is not what you were looking for. You’re right, it’s meant to be an alternative to the stock Contacts app with added features and different UI, which is why it asks for permissions to access your contacts list. Personal s! ### 5/5 — Beautiful contacts app *2021-12-21, version 1.10.2* If you’ve ever thought the regular Contacts app lacked charm and functionality, then this is the contacts app you need. Full of handy features like birthday reminders and groups, it has a good range of customisation options too. If you want to support the dev, and you should, the one-off tip unlocks more features and is superb value. Good app, looks gorgeous, works great! ### 5/5 — Birthday Reminders - without the Zuck *2021-06-14, version 1.10.2* I’ve flirted around with multiple contact apps, from the default, to cardhop, the list goes on. I’m one of those guys who likes every contact to be organised with birthdays, pictures and groups. KINN is great for bulk contact management in so many levels and using it does my second favourite iOS thing - supporting an indie dev. My favourite feature is the reminder to talk to contacts. It suggests contacts to talk to each day, and as a result of that I’ve had conversations with friends I’ve not spoken to in over a year. Really cool, simple but effective feature. Finally, it reminds me of birthdays, something I’ve needed since deleting FB. Nice to have all in one, looks and works spotlessly with a dev who replies to queries all the time on Twitter! ### 5/5 — Powerful app *2021-05-14, version 1.10.2* Very customisable and lots of useful features. It has a clean, simple and intuitive user interface which makes the app very easy to use. KINN has the amazing functionality “Today’s suggested contacts”, which helps you to stay in touch with people you haven’t had the chance to speak to recently. A must have app for those with busy lives who want a simple but effective way of managing contacts and keeping in touch with friends and family. ### 5/5 — Keeping in touch without distractions *2020-05-11, version 1.8.0* This gem of an app is really easy to use and reinvents the way you get access to your contacts by focusing on what’s really important (ie reminding you to get in touch and birthday alerts). It’s given me a way to keep in contact with my friends etc without getting distracted (good for digital minimalism) and I really appreciate the level of customisation that it offers you.
