I haven't found a better alternative. Its my Go to for personal videos but wouldn’t use it in professional settings ### 4/5 — Nice app, one bug *2026-07-23, version 1.4.3* All around this is a quality app. There’s a bug when you open the app in landscape mode that the camera zoom controls don’t appear. My fix is to open the app in vertical mode then rotate my phone, but my mount doesn’t rotate like that so it’s a slight pain. ### 3/5 — Gut gedacht… *2026-06-10* …noch nicht so gut gemacht. At least from what I can tell from the settings. The codec/log pop down menu sits partially under the Dynamic Island, the red warning diamond then sits on top of the codec you have selected. The app just crashed on me while writing this. Sometimes the lens selection buttons will not load in if I’m actively using a different camera app. Also fairly constant issues of permanent black frame or frozen frame when reopening the the application. I just finished recording a 30 minute footage. For some reasons after recording the video, the audio is muted for almost 3 whole minutes while the video has already progressed quite ahead, and then the audio trails behind by 3 whole minutes. This happened with both my 30 min footages. I don’t even understand how this is happening. I’ve been using this app for a while but just lost some important footage tonight and will never be using the app. Wow. ### 1/5 — I love this app *2026-07-16, version 1.4.3* but stop asking for a review while I’m trying to record Will change this review in the future to reflect the true score. Seriously, blocking my view in a recording app is unacceptable ### 1/5 — Recordings fail *2026-04-13, version 1.4.2* Was not able to use the app for the reason i purchased it. ### 1/5 — Not updated *2026-04-11* I downloaded your app, and although the iPhone 17 Pro Max has been out for about six months now, all the LUTs in your app are still adapted only for the Apple Log 1. They are not compatible with Apple Log 2, which is a significant drawback. The second major issue is that the brightness while recording video does not match the brightness of the final footage when shooting in Apple Log. This makes it difficult to properly judge exposure during filming. The third, and quite substantial downside, is that LUTs can only be imported in 33-point size, not 65. As far as I understand, 33-point LUTs are intended mainly for preview purposes rather than for final output quality. Meanwhile, in the Blackmagic Camera app, all of these features are available and work correctly. Overall, compared to the Blackmagic app, your app doesn’t offer significant improvements — it mostly just reduces the number of controls. For now, I’m giving it a one-star rating. However, if these issues are addressed in future updates, I will most likely remove or revise my review. ### 1/5 — Smh *2026-03-07, version 1.4.0* New updates suck!!! ### 1/5 — Horrible, Ruined Footage, Unrecoverable *2026-02-05* I used to love this app always used it. However today I tried to record some clips and one of them just says error over it and is basically corrupted and doesn’t play. The other clips all have insane audio latency issues but it’s not recoverable as the video at random moments slows down and speeds up so I can’t even take the video into a editor and try to resync it it literally loses sync every few seconds. Horrible no idea what they’re doing to this app but these bugs made me lose an entire day of shooting and now I can’t rely on it. Die Bedienung ist durchdacht, die Performance top und die integrierten Looks gehören mit zum Besten, was es auf iOS gibt. Gerade für schnelle, ästhetische Ergebnisse ist Kino unschlagbar. Ein Punkt, der die App für moderne Workflows noch perfekter machen würde, ist das kleine Export-Format: Eine etwas höhere Bitrate bzw. ein „High Quality Export“ (z. B. HEVC 10-bit) wäre großartig – besonders für Weiterverarbeitung in Apps wie Quik, CapCut oder anderen Automatik-Editoren, die ohnehin erneut komprimieren. Abgesehen davon: großartige App, tolles Design, klarer Fokus.
