Kinolog is a private movie diary and recommendation app. It allows you to log movies you've watched, rate them, and receive personalized film suggestions based on your unique taste.
Kinolog's recommendations are based on your past ratings, preferred genres, directors, and decades. It explains exactly how it arrived at a recommendation, drawing from films you've already rated, rather than relying on crowd averages.
The core features of Kinolog, including logging, import, watchlist, stats, and calibration, are free forever. A 'Plus' subscription unlocks additional features for users who want more advanced functionality.
Kinolog Plus offers two subscription plans: 'Plus Monthly' for $2.99 per month and 'Plus Yearly' for $24.00 per year, providing access to premium features.
Yes, you can import your entire movie history from a diary export, including ratings, dates, rewatches, and reviews. Ambiguous entries will be sent to a review queue for your attention.
No, Kinolog is ad-free. The app is designed to provide a private and uninterrupted viewing experience for its users.
