## What is Kiptly?

Kiptly is a gym workout tracker for people who lift — a strength training log that stays out of your way between sets.

THIS EXERCISE, RIGHT HERE
Tap History on any exercise while you train: your records, your best weight at every rep count, your progress and your past sessions, without leaving your workout.

THE MUSCLE MAP
Finish a workout and see which muscles you actually worked, mapped on your workout summary.

FOR TRAINERS
Coaching gets its own side of the app. Choose the trainer role at sign-up — no application, no vetting, and you can switch it back off while your cabinet is still empty — and you get a client roster that shows at a glance who is keeping up, a week schedule you start sessions from, intake forms, onboarding by QR or a 6-character code, notes and measurements you keep on a client, comments on a finished session, a four-week muscle map per client, and chat. You can log a workout standing next to a client, fully offline. Nothing you write about a client is hidden from them. A free trainer account covers up to five active clients; creating and assigning program templates requires PRO.

TRAIN WITH A COACH
Your trainer can write your whole week, not just today. Their note on an exercise and their comments on a session show up in your app, and a tempo they prescribed shows up while you train. Connect by scanning a QR code. Following the program they built for you costs you nothing.

LOGGING THAT KEEPS UP
Your last set's numbers sit greyed out in the next one, so you always know what to beat. The rest timer starts itself, and a rest time you set on an exercise comes back next time. Workouts log offline and sync later.

YOUR WORKOUT ON THE LOCK SCREEN
Current exercise, set count and rest countdown live on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. Complete a set without opening the app.

PROGRESS YOU CAN SEE
Personal records for every exercise: heaviest weight, most reps, best estimated 1RM, biggest set and session volume. A one-rep-max calculator and a plate calculator. Export your whole training log as CSV whenever you like — it is your data.

MILESTONES
Twenty-six milestones unlock as you train — workout counts, streaks, volume, records — with a weekly digest.

TRAIN WITH FRIENDS
Follow friends and their workouts show up in your feed, ready to like or comment on. Your profile is public by default; make it private and only your followers see it. Anything can be reported or blocked.

CYCLE-AWARE TRAINING (OPTIONAL)
Menstrual cycle tracking with phase-based intensity guidance. Nothing is recorded until you give separate, explicit consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

SUBSCRIPTION
Kiptly is free to use. A PRO subscription (monthly or annual) unlocks multi-week training programs with auto-progression; advanced analytics, including volume by muscle group and body measurements with goals; smart suggestions — what to train today, exercise alternatives, next-session progression and deload checks; a shareable workout card; unlimited templates; personal-record history beyond 90 days; and, for trainers, program templates and more than five clients. Try PRO free for 30 days without a card; nothing is charged when it ends.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. A PRO subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the current period ends; the charge is taken within those 24 hours. Manage the subscription and turn off auto-renew in your Apple Account settings.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.3.1 — 2026-08-31

Your trainer's work, your own history, and a map of what you trained

This exercise, right here
Tap History on any exercise while you train and see your records, your best weight at each rep count, your progress, and what you did in past sessions — without leaving the workout you are in.

The muscle map
Finish a workout and see which muscles you actually worked, on the summary and in your analytics.

Your week, from your trainer
If a trainer writes your plan, you can now see what you are doing on Thursday, not only today. Their note on an exercise and their comments on a session reach you as well, and a superset or a tempo they prescribed is honoured while you train.

For trainers
The coaching side is now its own space, with its own tabs and its own home. You choose your role when you sign up and move between the two sides from the main screen. It brings a week schedule that opens on today and starts a session in one tap, a list of the clients who need attention, search in the exercise library, filters on your client list, and assigning a plan or sending a message to a whole group at once.

Rest that remembers
Set a rest time for an exercise and it comes back next time. Rest two minutes on most things and four on deadlifts, and the app keeps up.

Goals for every measurement
Set a target for weight, body fat, chest, waist, bicep or thigh. Your weight goal draws a line on the chart and counts down what is left.

A chart you can read
Weight now shows six months and a full year, and the chart stays scaled to what you actually weighed — a distant goal no longer flattens the line.

Programs and templates, tidied
Programs and templates each live on one screen now, so it is clearer where a plan comes from and what you can edit.

Your data
Nothing a trainer writes about you is hidden from you. Your data export now includes what you paid and when. Delete your account and your trainer's copy of your record goes with it.

Fixes
Bodyweight exercises state their arithmetic once, on the exercise, instead of repeating it under every set.
The weekly nudge arrives Saturday morning, while there is still a weekend to train in.
Warm-up sets now count the same way everywhere they are totalled.
Dates and times follow your language and your clock.
Text stays on screen at the largest accessibility text sizes.
Resuming a workout started from a template no longer loses its exercises.
Sets and reps now count down correctly everywhere a template is summarised.
The activity tab's main action works again, and its notifications open the right place.
