App doesn’t work, waiting 2 hours for a code to verify my number

The app won’t allow me to register as no confirmation code is sent to my phone. I tried 5 times. When I rang the office I was told the app is unreliable and it’s best to ring the office. I wonder what the point of the app is then!

Really disappointed with this. Booked a 7-seater taxi a week in advance at an estimated price of £29, to be told on the day of the booking that the actual price was £45. I expected it to be a couple of £s dearer but not over half as much again. I was told over the phone that the app doesn’t recognise that it’s a 7 seater, which is odd because the price was different between a 4 seater and a 7. The man on the phone then tried to tell me that it was because I’d not selected the correct number of people on the app - except, there’s no option to choose the number of people, only the size of the car. Really disappointed, had wanted to use a local company over Uber but unfortunately the technology isn’t yet up to the job.

Perfect, I will always use Kirby Taxis, staff are always friendly, always on time, if going to be late due to traffic, they always let you know, I will recommend them to everyone I know
