It works when the app is open, and stops working when app is closed or phone is out of range. 

Defeats the purpose of scheduling when the schedule only works when you keep the app open.

Since they updated this app my diffuser is never on and therefore can never run the schedule. It’s also Bluetooth which means that if you’re out of range you can’t control it. The app needs to run on Wi-Fi for it to be a good app.

The entire app has been redesigned with a cleaner layout, clearer navigation, and a more consistent look across the board. The home experience has been improved with a cleaner UI for controlling your diffuser, and account and profile management features have been refined, including a smoother, passwordless sign-in process.

Easier diffuser setup and connection
Pairing a new diffuser couldn't be easier, with clearer steps and improved feedback while searching and connecting. We’ve also improved how the app reconnects to your device, including when you leave and return to the app, and made it clearer when a connection is needed before changing important things like intensity or schedules.

Smarter scent control
Intensity and scheduling are now easier to understand and adjust. We're also introducing a brand new custom schedule system to give you even more control over your diffusers. Existing schedules are carried forward into the updated schedule system, so your setup continues to work without starting over.

Demo and Guest modes
We've added two new modes to the app - Demo mode is a great way to experience what it's like to own a kirri diffuser without actually owning one; Guest mode allows you to skip signing in until you need to control a diffuser, so you can browse the shop and discover more about kirri.
