## What is Kiss Sidewinder Companion?

KISS Sidewinder Companion is the pre-flight for your rebreather. It turns the
build, the bubble checks and the teardown into a guided, recorded routine — so
nothing gets skipped, and every dive has a paper trail.

Built for the KISS Sidewinder. Works fully offline; sign in only if you want a
backup.

PRE-DIVE, GUIDED
• Step-by-step build and pre-dive checklist against a live 3D model of the unit
  that focuses and explodes the exact part for each step.
• Cell calibration and O₂ analysis: log millivolts in air and on oxygen and see
  per-cell linearity error the moment it drifts.
• Negative and positive pressure tests with a live 5-minute clock and a plain-
  English verdict — SEAL HOLDS / CHECK SEALS / REDO TEST — checked against your
  reference cell reading.

NOTHING GETS LOST
• Checklists auto-save to the log as you fill them in — no "save" step, and an
  interrupted checklist is never lost.
• Reopen any saved run to edit it, with a full history of what changed and when.
• Omissions are recorded, never blocking — the summary shows exactly what you
  didn't tick.

DIVE LOG
• Import dives straight from your Shearwater dive computer over Bluetooth.
• Per-dive scrubber load (depth- and temperature-weighted), cell averages and
  spread, and the full profile.
• Link a pre-dive checklist to the dives it covered.

POST-DIVE & UPKEEP
• A clean teardown, rinse and dry checklist with a quick data log.
• Maintenance schedule, spare-parts reference, and O₂ cell-life tracking so you
  replace sensors on time, not on a guess.

OPTIONAL CLOUD BACKUP
• Create an account to back up and sync your checklists, dives and cell history
  across devices. Everything works without it.
• Export all your data at any time, and delete your account and its data from
  inside the app.

KISS Sidewinder Companion is a planning and record-keeping aid. It does not
replace your training, your unit's manual, or your own checks. Dive within your
certification.

NEW UNIT — KISS SIDEWINDER 2
The whole unit, taken from the Rev 3 manual: a 3D model you can explode and explore part by part, its own pre-dive, post-dive and maintenance procedures, dual-scrubber duration figures and reference tables.

BACKMOUNT OR SIDEMOUNT
The Sidewinder 2 rigs either way, so the configuration is now the first step of the pre-dive checklist and is recorded with that run. The 3D model opens in the configuration you picked, and each step points at the parts that configuration actually builds.

SERVICE LOG
Every maintenance task you log is kept with its date, so the schedule counts down from what you have actually done. The log backs up and syncs with the rest of your data.

CELL HEALTH PER UNIT
Sensors and controllers do not move between units, so cell health, linearity trends and the service schedule are now tracked separately for each one. The dive log stays in one place with a filter for either unit — a dive is filed under the unit whose checklist it is linked to.

DIVE IMPORT
Importing from a Shearwater computer now preselects just the newest dive, so the usual import is one tap. Dives read from a Shearwater Cloud .db file now land at the right time of day.

RELIABILITY
• Opening the app without a signal no longer signs you out.
• Sync keeps edits made while you were signed out, and can no longer delete records in the cloud because of a bad read on the phone.
• Dive profiles are checked after download, so a corrupted transfer is refused instead of saved over a good one.
• Larger, clearer type throughout.

Plus a long list of smaller fixes across the checklists, the logbook, the dive profile chart and the 3D viewer.
