Ordering in store takes a long time to make, so ordering ahead was SO nice! But the app quit working and now says update needed, but going to App Store says it’s up to date. Broken on our iPhones and iPad! I have deleted app and reinstalled, and I can get as far as putting stuff in cart and specifying payment method, and then it says there is an error, and it doesn’t place the order. Please please fix it! ### 1/5 — Non-functional *2023-07-01* Won't let you add a card to pay. I tried with two credit cards. Also keeps telling me to upgrade as a new version is available. I deleted the app and reinstalled it, same issues. To the Kitanda owners, just take it off the App Store. In this day and age you don't have to create your own app, you can use Toast if you don't like the GrubHubs and DoorDashes of the world. Or use whatever your point of sale system is, they've got an app and you can integrate with it easy (e.g., square, clover, whatever) ### 1/5 — App stopped working *2023-06-03* Says invalid login credentials. But the experience is completely ruined by this god awful app. 75% of the time, the app does not even function and doesn’t allow to even order. I have had countless issues. There were account creation issues, bugs with ordering certain items, issues with payment that would literally make it so I couldn’t even order. There is currently an issue right now with their VISA payment that prevents me from even being able to order anything. Best açaí bowls I’ve ever had. But this app is genuinely non-functional. Every time I try to sign up it crashes, and you can’t order food without logging in with an account. So I’m never able to use it 🙃 would love to be able to order ahead online. ### 3/5 — Ordering fixed; app still quite unpolished *2022-06-11, version 1.0.46* I’m upgrading my review to three stars. After a lengthy and frankly, completely broken launch, the developers managed to get the happy path working and I can pick up drinks and food. However, it’s still very rough: * Buttons still give no feedback they’re pressed. * Prices are sometimes displayed with one significant digit, sometimes two * Vertical text alignment on buttons is all over the place * Sometimes text is left aligned, center aligned or right aligned with no rhyme or reason * Buttons like “repeat last order” are still on screen even if you don’t have a last order. Actually, I do have a last order, I don’t know why that button doesn’t work. * Back arrow for screens is in the top right. * Padding and margins is all over the place. * Buttons like order status after placing an order show no order in progress Just generally all of this adds up to a strong feeling of things being broken or unreliable or untrustworthy. I’d recommend to the designers of the app that they read the Apple Human Interface guidelines and optionally (but preferably) bring on someone who does this kind of work every day to help out. Seattle is full of great software firms that could assist. ### 2/5 — Terrible App *2023-08-16* This app is terrible. Does not let me register and login.
