Kitchen Kabinet helps real families figure out dinner — and what to pour with it. Name a protein, describe a craving, or say "30 minutes and the kids will actually eat it" — get a recipe that fits. Over time it learns your family's tastes, so it stops suggesting mushrooms to the kid who hates them. PICK A REGISTER, NOT JUST A DISH The same chicken thighs can be a Tuesday sheet-pan dinner, a diner sandwich, or a plated chef's-table course. Choose weeknight, Sunday supper, backyard fire, diner, bistro, or chef's table, and Kabinet cooks in that register — with the technique and the vocabulary to match. It refuses to blur them: a smashburger never arrives on a brioche bun, and a chef's-table plate never arrives family-style. START WITH WHAT YOU'VE GOT Open the app to a grid of main ingredients, ranked by what you actually cook. One tap on "pork shoulder" gets three ideas in three different registers. TALK IT THROUGH Don't know the whole change yet? Just ask. "I only have cider vinegar, will that work instead of sherry?" — Kabinet tells you what it changes and what to adjust to compensate. "Also my tomatoes are plum, not cherry." It keeps a running list of everything you've agreed and rebuilds the recipe once, when you're ready. Nothing changes until you say so. CHANGE ONE PART OF A DISH — On a multi-part build (a cure, a sauce, a pickle, each with its own timing), you can now change just that part instead of regenerating the whole recipe. Everything else stays exactly as it was. If the change moves when you have to start it, Kabinet says so. ASKING FOR A CHANGE IS EASIER TO FIND — The AI edit used to hide behind a small icon in the toolbar. There's now a proper "Ask Kabinet to change this recipe" field under every recipe, and a "Change this part" button on each component. ### 1.4.0 — 2026-08-10 Kitchen Kabinet now cooks in registers.
