The world's best chefs recommend you weigh ingredients when baking, but what to do when all your recipes use the standard volume measurements, such as cups and tablespoons? The Kitchen Scale app lets you quickly and easily check how much certain ingredients should weigh. Just select an ingredient, tell the scale how much the recipe calls for (support for both US and metric units), and Kitchen Scale will tell you how much it should weigh. Then just measure out that amount on your kitchen scale! Kitchen Scale also provides convenient unit conversion so you can quickly convert between units.

When you choose what to convert, the one you put your finger on is not what comes up. I compared from a different site and the measurement does not match what it should be converted to. Not accurate at all.

It won’t allow me to select the ingredient I want. I select flour and it jumps to bread flour 😔

I downloaded this app and tested with ingredients I knew the conversion.  Example: a pound of butter is 16 oz., 2 cups.  Yet the app says a cup of butter is 4 oz., not 8 oz. and does not give 8 Tbs. for 4 oz.   Butter seems to be off by half!  Could really ruin a recipe!!!

Hey Anthony your app needs to be fixed. It’s off by TWO. By that I mean if you choose an item what ACTUALLY gets selected is the item TWO SPOTS BELOW. TAP ON “Sugar” you get “butter”. Tap on “baking soda” you get “sugar”.
It’s INFURIATING! Please FIX IT!
