Smart Thermometer
The KitchenAid® Smart Thermometer helps you achieve your ideal doneness with confidence for meat, pork, fish, and poultry, whether you’re grilling, roasting, smoking, air frying, or cooking on the stovetop. By monitoring both internal and ambient temperatures, it brings clarity and control to every cook, whatever’s on the menu.


Multiple sensors track both the internal temperature of your food and the surrounding heat, helping the thermometer respond accurately as cooking conditions change. A clear temperature graph lets you see how both temperatures develop over time, giving you a better understanding of how your cook is progressing.


Charging is quick and flexible. A full charge takes just 45 minutes using the included dock and USB charger, delivering up to 24 hours of runtime** for longer cooks like slow-roasted brisket. A 5-minute quick charge provides up to 5 hours** of continuous cooking. When the dock is fully charged and used to recharge the thermometer multiple times, it can support up to 175 total hours of cooking**. The magnetic dock adheres to metal surfaces for easy storage on your oven, grill, or refrigerator and, when docked and plugged in, the probe and dock charge at the same time.


The metal shaft of the thermometer has a maximum heat tolerance of 212°F (100°C) and take care not to expose the ceramic handle to direct flame or temperatures above 572°F (300°C). This product set comes with a one year limited warranty***.

Not quite sure the point of this app, all you can do is preheat your oven and when trying to set the Cook timer you have to set the time five times before it saves.

Please update the temperature slider on oven control so it is in increments of 5 degrees. Going from the default 350 to 425 is a lot of swiping. When you don’t swipe straight you have to start over. It is the only frustrating thing that I found in the app.

The new rolling way of setting the temperature is the most annoying thing you could possibly imagine.

App used to constantly read oven was running.  That has been solved with the latest update.  Now, when trying to remotely start oven, you have to scroll sideways in increments of 1 degree at a time starting at 325.  It’s easier to walk in the kitchen and type in the temperature.  Whoever thought this was an improvement should have to endure weekly colonoscopies for eternity.

The absolute worst app why even have it, basically it’s only good for turning on and off. You put the probe in it says you have to take it out but then when you don’t have the probe in and you want to cook with the probe it says you don’t have the probe in. Then when you try to set your food temperature, it won’t stay at the setting that you want and it doesn’t track it so what is the point? And this is with the app update it’s always been awful KitchenAid do better.
