Kite&Wing Calculator helps you choose the right kite or wing size based on wind conditions and your weight for the best enjoyable session — quickly, simply, and with reliable and open source data published by wings makers.

BASED ON MANUFACTURER CHARTS
No more guesswork or rough formulas. Kite&Wing Calculator uses the official wind range data published by manufacturers for each kite size, adjusted to your body weight. Data is sourced from F-One (Bandit, Trigger, Bandit S), Duotone (Rebel SLS, Evo), and Cabrinha (Switchblade, Moto X), with more brands coming soon.

HOW IT WORKS
Select your kite brand and model
Set your weight, average wind speed, and gust speed
The app recommends the optimal kite size and shows where you sit within the wind range
A comfort indicator tells you whether you're in the sweet spot, low-end, high-end, or out of range

Interactive wind range chart for every size, adjusted to your weight
Two alternative sizes (for stronger or lighter wind)
Context-aware tips adapted to conditions (high gust spread, extreme wind, light wind)
Automatic weight adjustment: ±2 knots per 10 kg difference from the manufacturer's 75 kg reference weight

WHO IS IT FOR?

DATA AND PRIVACY
KiteSizeCalc does not collect any personal data. Everything is calculated locally on your device. No account required, no ads.
AROME HD model used in France, MET NORWAY out of France. No commercial usage restriction with these APIs.
