HOW IT WORKS — FROM CHOP TO BEAT 1. LOAD A SOUND Record straight into KITE or import a file. Anything is fair game: a vinyl sample, a voice note, a field recording, a synth line. 2. CHOP IT Open the waveform editor (the active sample from main menu or click the gear icon on a track), zoom in and set your markers. Slice on transients or place them by hand. Every chop becomes a playable pad. 3. SEQUENCE IT Tap kicks, snares and your own chops into the step sequencer. You can define a slice with the Slice dropdown! A pattern takes seconds. Chain patterns into Sections when the idea grows. 4. DEFINE IT Set attack and so on for the active selected Sample in the Property Editor. 5. SHAPE IT Assign Effect Scenes per block, then patch effects and route samples between engines in the scene graph (Mobile Pro). 6.
