I rate you and then you asked me to write a review which I choose to skip, so then you ask me next time I logon to review you again. They have veeb my bank since I was 16 and I wouldn’t have it any other way. However- for the last few months, I have been having an issue with the app that causes it to never open back up again randomly for seemingly no reason, forcing me to delete the app and redownload it again. This can be quite frustrating if I’m say, at a gas pump, or in the middle of the grocery store. Otherwise the app is incredibly user friendly and fast- but that is not particularly helpful to me if I go to use it every 2 weeks and it simply doesn’t open, forcing me to delete it, resave my password, my Face ID, etc. other than this issue, the app and bank are amazing. ### 3/5 — Always says I have unread messages *2026-01-20, version 2025.7.2.1* The app is fine but the message feed never removes the little notification saying I have new messages and it drives me a little bonkers. 3 stars. ### 2/5 — Notification bubble won’t go away *2025-12-29, version 2025.7.2.1* Since the most recent update I have had a notification from this app that I can’t clear no matter what I try. And then the real person doesn’t help you with anything. The app was great. Then they decided to change it like 5 times. Now it’s clunky, buggy, and what’s worse, it has notification badges 24/7. And they are just advertisements. Trying to sell you stuff. And even if you view it, it doesn’t clear the notification badge. Permanent advertisement harassment. Now when I start the app and use touch id to login, i go into the last login i used and HALF THE TIME its not the business/personal login i need… i have to click several times to find logout, logout, then i get the opportunity to select my other user (business v.s. personal account). It was much easier before, simply selecting personal or business icons. The customer service is a joke—either the representatives have zero experience dealing with people, or they know exactly what they’re doing but completely lack basic sympathy. Beyond that, Kitsap Credit Union blatantly takes advantage of its customers with predatory overdraft fees—fees that, in some cases, feel downright criminal. It makes me wonder if they’re scrambling to squeeze every last dollar out of people before the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s new overdraft fee limits take effect in October 2025. Either way, I’ll be closing my account soon, and I’ll make sure to warn everyone I know to steer clear of shady institutions like Kitsap Credit Union.
