Thanks ### 5/5 — Sehr schöne und moderne App für MyAnimeList *2024-11-06, version 1.0.44* Habe bisher die offizielle MAL App zum schnellen tracken von Animes und Mangas genutzt, aber seitdem ich diese App entdeckt habe, nutze ich nur noch diese. Die App sieht viel besser, schöner und moderner als die offizielle App aus und es gibt viele selbst einstellbare Funktionen, wie das automatische hinzufügen von Start und Enddatum oder auch das nach rechts Wischen, um eine Episode oder ein Kapitel als geschaut/gelesen zu markieren, ist wirklich gut gemacht. Außerdem ist die Option, die Liste zusätzlich und gleichzeitig mit AniList zu Synchronisieren einmalig und mir in keiner anderen App bekannt, was ein sehr geiles Feature ist, um die beiden größten Anime und Manga Tracker an einem Ort zu haben. Instantly bought premium (also cheaper than the competition) The only complaint I have is with the detail view on iPad and Mac. There’s a lot of empty space below the trailers. It‘s a minor thing, though. I kept using both services, MAL and AniList, back and forth and now with this Kitsune update I can use both at the same time with just one app! This is wonderful! ### 5/5 — Easily the best MAL app *2024-07-27* It’s absolutely fantastic. Near perfection in every aspect of it. It was an instant decision in buying and supporting. The only thing that I wish it could have was the ability to see which episodes I haven’t seen or I’m trailing behind on currently airing anime. Sometimes I just forget what I watched or I forget to mark it down as seen. It would be extremely helpful for an airhead like me. On a title’s edit screen you can update your episode count, score etc. but those aren’t reflected in the main list or on MAL itself. So, so far, it’s useless. Restarting the app just brings it back to a buffering state so you have to wait on the app to figure itself out. **Developer response:** Hi, I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing freezing issues. Thanks! ### 3/5 — Freezes a lot *2024-10-09, version 1.0.44* I really love the simple design of Kitsune! It’s super easy to use, and tracking my anime is a breeze. The ability to sync with both MyAnimeList and AniList at the same time is such a great feature, making it easy to keep everything organized. Plus, the UI is just really nice to look at. That said, I’ve run into some pretty annoying issues. Whenever I try to edit multiple anime in quick succession, the app freezes for about 3-5 minutes. The only way to get it working again is to just wait it out. Restarting the app or even my phone doesn’t seem to help, which is frustrating when I’m just trying to make some quick edits. Also, I wish the rating system allowed for decimals! Sometimes, I feel like a show deserves a 7.4 instead of being forced into a flat 7 or 8. It would make the ratings feel way more accurate. Overall, I really enjoy using Kitsune, but I hope these issues get sorted out soon! ### 4/5 — Needs ui improvements *2026-01-05* Loving the app but I see some things could use changing imo. Then I switched to anilist and was searching for an iOS app and found this app. This app is everything I wanted, is beautiful and even supports both mal and anilist. One thing I would still like to see would be a sync option, to sync mal to anilist and the other way around. I want this because I use some anilist integrations and want my mal also to be up to date. Their premium has a few nice customizations for one time $2 and it was an easy yes for me to support. NO Subscriptions! Such a nice thing. I have a few additional features I reached out to the dev for. Hoping they get added and this will be even better. 10/10 get this one.
