Kittar is a music app that lets you enjoy playing music phrase by phrase. Choose a song saved on your iPhone,iPad and iPod touch and the app will automatically generate a "phrase list" based on the song's structure. The app is perfect for having fun with performing a song partially, accompanied by the original song.

Choose a song saved on your iPhone,iPad and iPod touch and Kittar will automatically generate a "phrase list" based on the song's structure. 

◆ Edit phrase lists at will
Edit the names and boundaries of phrases, or add new ones. What's more, each song can have multiple phrase lists for different purposes.

◆Favorite phrases
You can create your own unique phrase list by marking phrases as "favorites". You can even register phrases from a variety of songs into a single list.

◆Rich playback functionality
Kittar was designed to be used while playing an instrument, and features a large full screen player view that is easy to use. It contains a multitude of functions helpful for playing music, including changing the tempo, transposing, repeating and count-in.

Notice: Songs stored in iCloud, protected by digital rights management (DRM) and songs over 40 minutes long cannot be used with the app.

Hi

This is a great app! Just I wish could create phrases with more than once song. If you add new song it deletes the previously created phrases from the other song.

This is the guitar practice tool that I’ve been dreaming of. There are lots of tools that allow you to replay a section of a song and vary the tempo. What make Kittar so much better is allowing for you to break up the song into multiple phrases, save those phrases to use over and over in your practice sessions. The automatic phrase detection is hit and miss but works better than I expected and the phrase playback option are fantastic. The only thing missing is a stereo Left-Right Balance option so that you can exclude or isolate instruments. My search for my perfect practice tool is over. Awesome!

First time I've opened an app to be greeted with a EULA, and this one is just copied from their website. Includes bits about how they happily spam you and give your info to 3rd parties to also spam you.  Uh, no thanks.
