Thorium requires a lot of craft all maintenance on mobile and it’s crazy this hasn’t been fixed for as long as the bug has been in the game on mobile. Recently switched to iPhone and really missing that feature. Certaines descriptions ne sont pas traduites du tout. HOWEVER, the interface gets a bit wonky and often times I’ll be pressing a button and hit another, and this keeps going and will only be fixed by restarting, which can be frustrating. it’s definitely possible my old phone is agitating the situation, but i also don’t have these problems with any other game or app, so i think i can safely say that it’s this game’s interface that doesn’t work quite properly. still, good stuff devs! ### 3/5 — Some buildings not providing stated benefits *2024-06-10, version 1.5.4* Buildings to reduce unhappiness and decrease catnip consumption seem to have no such effect. Especially incremental ones but sadly the Market is flooded with pay-to-win no one would enjoy playing. And here I stumbled over this Game and for over a Year now I am completely in Love with this Game that never made grinding so much Fun. One of the best mobile Games I’ve ever played even when the App lacks fancy graphics and wild animations. It’s straight to the point and gives you a perfect overlook over your growing Settlement. You’d think a $4 game would have a stable save system. Developers this feature would be greatly appreciated as I love this game otherwise. ### 1/5 — Perfect Game, Bad Creator and Politics *2022-04-13* I love idle games like this! I enjoyed the simple design that hides a great degree of choice and customization to optimize your society. It was shaping up to be one of my favorite mobile games. The part that warranted this one star in my mind was with the policy tab. In it you can use various societal policies to influence the growth of your cats. At first this was cool, until you unlocked more complex policies. The best policies number-wise were in reality monstrous. The fascist policy gives great optimization with almost no drawbacks, but the socialism policy costs a great deal of resources and literally does nothing(it even says it in the purchase description). This seems to be the creators attempt at a joke but it ignores the real world effects fascist governments have had. Also the only hostile species you interact with are the zebras which feels like a racist dig at Africa. I wanted to love this game but the problematic views built into the design have left a bad taste in me mouth. ### 1/5 — Deleted my progress after weeks of grinding. *2022-02-09, version 1.3.7* I signed into my cloud sinc for the first time and the app went blank. I found last year and I’ve been playing ever since. On the surface it doesn’t look like it should be much fun at all, but it’s captivating. I’ve never been so engrossed in an incremental game, and I’ve played a lot of them. Thank you, Bloodrizer! ### 5/5 — I barely understand the point *2025-09-08, version 1.5.4* It’s perfect ### 5/5 — A masterpiece of game design *2025-07-13* There are a lot of games nowadays that have gorgeous art and sprawling worlds and are extremely boring to play because the game itself is so poorly designed. This is the antithesis of that. It’s got a janky interface, there are a bunch of themes that make it decent to look at but the UI is clearly an afterthought. It’s got some bugs and it’s mostly text based. There’s no astounding art here. But the gameplay is so thoroughly well designed that it makes up for that tenfold. Calling it an idle game is almost a disservice, it definitely can be played as an idle game if you just want to wait and click but the mechanics are so interactive that you can spend hours in the app micromanaging what your kittens are doing and reducing wait times to mere minutes. There are big difficulty spikes but they’re quickly followed by new mechanics to reach them, there are callbacks to your humble beginnings where you get to plow through early bottlenecks with your highly evolved manufacturing. Every single kitten has a name and skillset you can train and utilize. There’s industry, religion, education, space travel, politics, science, trade, and good old idle game building scaling. There’s a prestige system that lets you replay the whole thing with buffs from previous timelines and there are a ton of different approaches and styles (if scale out your population fast you get a ton of workers but you might get wrecked by overpopulation unhappiness, industrialize rapidly and you get all kinds of automation and upgrades but you might destroy your environment in the process). So yeah for 3 bucks this is probably the best idle game you can play and just one of the best mobile games in general. I’d love to see more of this kind of game, get the gameplay, design, and balance down perfectly and then build on top of that. ### 5/5 — Amazingly well designed and fun idle game *2025-04-07* I’ve allocated my woodcutter kitten to be farmer kittens to stem the tide of the catnip famine in the winter that wiped my village out. We need to scale our storerooms so that the cats aren’t redlining production. I can’t generate any catpower when my village is constantly at risk of starving in the winter. Soon my brave kitty hunters will venture out to form an alliance with the reptiles. Needless to say I’m have a blast and 3 bucks is a steal for a game as good as this. ### 5/5 — Amazing experience *2025-03-30, version 1.5.4* I really love this game.
