What disappoints me most is that there is no option in the app to turn off PayWave / contactless payments. Many other banks, such as BNZ and ASB, allow customers to turn contactless payments on or off by themselves in the app. This gives users more control, especially if they are worried about accidental payments, card fraud, or simply want better account security. However, Kiwibank does not provide this feature, so customers have very limited control and may need to contact the bank for help. Contactless payment is convenient, but not everyone wants it enabled all the time. I hope Kiwibank can improve its app and add an option to turn PayWave / contactless payments on or off. ### 3/5 — Acceptable but not Exceptional! *2026-05-11, version 5.5.0* Very average banking app with no exceptional features. There are a few extras I would like: 1. Search history minimum of 5 years and able to download as txt, csv or pdf and forward to email. 2.
