### 5/5 — It works like a charm!

*2018-01-31*

Easily identified north and south poles on magnets. It makes it easy to determine which direction the magnets are facing for craft projects to ensure that it is all aligned identically.

Will use it again to check magnet polarity!

Minor issue: The terms and conditions required me to scroll down to the bottom of the toc before it let me select accept.

### 5/5 — Magnetically delicious

### 5/5 — So Simple Yet So Useful!

A perfect app for my iPhone. So handy.

### 5/5 — Yet another thing eaten by my phone

*2018-01-26*

I’m increasingly working with magnets in my designs, and was on the verge of buying a pole detector. Lo and behold, this app shows up and it works great. I’ve tested it on standalone magnets and I can even use it to “see” the arrangement of N/S magnets in my iPad’s Smart Cover! Brilliant!

### 1/5 — Inaccurate

*2024-11-28*

At first, it seems really good. i used it to label my magnet, then when i went to double check, it gave the opposite end instead. i then realized that if u gently turn the magnet over close to the sensor, it wont identify the polarity change and will instead keep what it originally showed. for example, u put the "south" end close to the sensor, then gently turn it over so that the "north" end is close to the center, it will still read it as the south end.

### 1/5 — These apps are wrong

*2024-02-08*

I’ve set a few magnets magnets using a the sting method. Each one a different size and different location. Nothing like Mother Nature telling you what your polarity is based on polarities attracting principle. I even went as far as to confirm it with my compass. However when I put the phone to those polarities on the magnet already labeled then it tells me the complete opposite. I think the algorithm on this is wrong or maybe it works with certain phones and not others.

Thank you for also labeling the poles with color.
Green for the South Pole and red for the North Pole is perfect for magnet therapy identification.

### 5/5 — Does its one job well

*2018-03-08*

App has just one job — identify poles of a magnet. Works just as advertised. No need to get phone close to magnet. In my tests it identified pole from a foot away (will vary with magnet strength I’m sure)

### 5/5 — Works perfectly!

*2018-02-04*

This simple, easy to use app does exactly what it claims. It’s a great tool for anyone who needs to determine magnet polarity.
