## What is Klara?

“Klara”, dé mobiele app van uw favoriete zender
Met deze applicatie voor iPhone heeft u Klara altijd op zak. Zo kunt u snel, betrouwbaar, eenvoudig en in hoge kwaliteit uw favoriete Klara-programma’s beluisteren, waar en wanneer u maar wil. Dit alles in een herkenbare Klara-omgeving, met visuals van de componisten en/of uitvoerders en de presentatoren.
Via de playlistfunctie vindt u snel de naam van een muzikaal werk terug uit de playlist van Klara. Via de app kunt u snel en gemakkelijk reageren op uw favoriete radioprogramma en staat u rechtstreeks in contact met de studio. Via Airplay kunt u bovendien alles streamen naar uw eigen televisie of speakers. Vanuit de app kunt u de muziek die u leuk vindt delen met uw vrienden via sociale media.
U kunt niet alleen naar Klara, maar ook naar alle andere VRT-zenders luisteren via deze app. Naast Radio 1, Radio 2, Studio Brussel en MNM, kunt u ook genieten van non-stop klassieke muziek op Klara Continuo, en non-stop hitmuziek op MNM Hits en Ketnet Hits. Via VRT Nieuws krijgt u de belangrijkste nieuwsbulletins en de krantencommentaren apart aangeboden.

Update to my review from 6 years ago. I don’t follow Klara anymore, it has become unbearable. They have commercials now, AND not only that, they are in Flemish , no matter where you are listening from. Every time you start listening, every time you switch from radio to continuo you have to listen to 15-20 seconds of gibberish. Who run this station ?! More importantly, music choice is not what it used to be. It used to be one of the best classical stations, not anymore 😔

Heb ik goed begrepen dat de spuuglelijke en onhandige zoekfunctie nu helemaal weg is ? Om een uitzending ( met haar kreupele playlists, maar ‘t was beter dan niks?) te vinden? « Ontdek » wil zeggen: trek uw plan om maar iets te vinden in die ander app, VRT max ?? En de rest zijn selecties voor een kleuter publiek ? WTF, om het even in het Engels te zeggen. Radio France, France Musique. Ga daar eens even kijken, beste vrienden.

At present I do not use the application for streaming because it doesn’t allow casting to Chromecast. TuneIn does. Previous versions of application Klara did connect. Please revert to former capability. 
Klara Continuo is an excellent service but i would occasionally like to hear more than one movement.

Waardeloos. Op ipad pas na enkele pogingen (eerst continuo selecteren, pas daarna werkt klara life) muziek, en meerdere keren per dag een complete crash.

Ik houd van Klara maar niet de speler.
-De speler is te traag om te starten wanneer het is op eerste keer aan gezet is. 
-Als je de speler onderbreekt door een telefoongesprek of een ander media app, is de speler status niet veranderen maar gestopt. Dat betekent dat wanneer je terug naar Klara gaat moet je de speler stoppen en starten. De problem is dat meestal de speler start niet terug, en moet je op X tikken om de speler te hernieuwen. Nogmaals het is heel traag om te starten. BBC radio 3 doet het zodra (immediately). 

Alstublieft voer meer testen uit op de speler om dit te verbeteren voor alle luisteraars.

Naast de lineaire reclame (die maar blijft toenemen op Klara) krijg je nu ook reclame vóór ‘t openen van de stream door de strot geramd. Blijf weg van de app, en luister via de Music app.
