I was looking for a digital bank to hold Naira in for various uses, so I created an account with Klasha, I funded my account with about N15,000 and when I tried to withdraw my money, they kept saying “undergoing maintenance”. I thought it was a routine maintenance but guess what? It’s been 3 weeks and I have been unable to withdraw my funds. I have sent numerous emails and it’s the same copy and paste reply saying their team is working on it! How pathetic for a “fintech company” There are THOUSANDS of people going through the same thing, I checked twitter and Facebook and saw thousands of people who have not been able to withdraw their money. This is terrible! To me the N15,000 as a Nigerian living in London isn’t life threatening but i feel so bad for the thousands of Nigerians living in Nigeria who are unable to withdraw their money, this is why I’m writing this review! So, this review is to warn everyone, do not use this app. Do not deposit money into it, you will not be able to withdraw it. Just go to twitter and search “klasha app”, you will see thousands of proper begging for their money back. This is terrible! An fraudulent app like this cannot exist in the UK but because it’s Nigeria, they know they can get away with holding thousands of people’s funds without any repercussions. Every day by exactly 11am I keep on trying to withdraw but it doesn’t work. And when I contact their customer service some minutes later, they tell me that I should try tomorrow.
