## What is Klaverjas?

Play Klaverjas against AI opponents or learn to play through the Klaverjas Academy. Play sixteen rounds of the Dutch trick-taking classic against three intelligent AI opponents (beginner, advanced, pro). Play Amsterdams or Rotterdams. No ads. No accounts. No internet needed.

— KLAVERJAS ACADEMY —
Learn how to play Klaverjas from scratch. A step-by-step course that introduces all concepts of Klaverjas, from the basic concepts of scoring points, playing cards, until trumping and signaling. Learn how to become an advanced klaverjas player and dive into the world of Klaverjas.

— THREE LEVELS —
Beginner, advanced and pro. The beginner AI is perfect for new players that are taking the Klaverjas Academy while the Pro version will challenge even the most experienced Klaverjas player. And no, these AI will not cheat and do not have any insights in other player's cards.

— YOUR RULES —
Amsterdams (no overtrump required) or Rotterdams (must overtrump). Required or free bidding. Pick whichever your table plays and the app follows along.

— NO FRICTION —
No accounts, no ads, no in-app purchases, no internet required. Whatever you do in the app stays on your phone. Nothing goes anywhere.

— ALSO BEAUTIFUL —
Four table colours (emerald, sapphire, burgundy, walnut), three card styles (classic, modern, dark), light and dark mode, two hand layouts, and a typography-first design that doesn't shout.

Recent updates have made the Pro AI noticeably smarter. It now consistently signals a strong suit to its partner, actively pulls trump in the middle game, and cashes vulnerable high trumps before they get captured. The app now fills the full screen on every iPhone and iPad, with cards and the play area scaling to the device. A new Feedback button on the home menu lets you send tips or comments directly. I read everything personally and use your input to keep improving the app.
