And I do run into audio feed problems at times, so if I want to listen to KLCC for quite a long time, I still use “old school” radio at 91.7. ### 5/5 — Great news source, great app *2021-11-17, version 4.5.19* I go to this news for local and state news. I’ve rebooted and downloaded the latest version but it’s still glitchy. ### 2/5 — Live stream doesn't work on 5 or 5s *2016-07-10, version 3.6.13* Pre recorded programs seem to work fine but the live stream does not on my phone or my mothers phone. ### 3/5 — Doesn’t refresh day to day *2024-12-10* Picks up broadcast where it was when I exited the app a day or two before. Often takes several minutes to catch up to the live broadcast. Randomly skipping around within a program, or repeating segments. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app but to no avail. Irritating. ### 3/5 — Glitchy *2020-05-17* The app is a good way to stream KLCC’s programming. It’s also good for reading or listening to local, state news. But it is glitchy!! It drops the stream fairly often and just sometimes doesn’t work-no audio. I just delete and re-install and all’s well but I shouldn’t have to do that. If I don’t have time for that I just switch to the OPB app or another NPR app. Luckily, I’ve got choices, but’s frustrating. I really like KLCC’s programming. Now a year later, my comments remain the same. Love having it as that makes KLCC available almost anywhere, but it remains glitchy. Same problems. ### 3/5 — It’s glitchy *2019-01-28, version 3.9.25* It is easy to store NPR programs and find programs. Every so often it just stops working so I have to delete and reinstall. I tried the OPB app and I can’t figure it out, like how to find All Things Considered or TED talks on it. ### 3/5 — Hen it works great *2015-02-28, version 3.1.3* We enjoy KLCC when traveling or when using our module devices. However when it does not work it is very frustrated. We have to reinstall it several times. One quirk that's getting annoying is this: started playing, then stopped and closed the app. Then made a phone call and it starts playing! Not so good when you crank speakers up to hear your phone call. Often I will hear things on NPR that aren’t reported for days on other news networks. It is fair, intelligent, and presented well. And KLCC/KLCO is right on top of reporting local items, and by “local” they cover most of Oregon…It’s a great station! ### 5/5 — KLCC forever *2024-05-03* I have enjoyed KLCC for 30 years. I know it is not great but I receive most of my news through KLCC. I think that it is relatively balanced and fair, plus it shares a lot of my views. I love the sense of community that it provides and promotes. I have seen it take away music and insert talk shows. This is the only aspect that really bothers me and I know it is hard to compete with streaming music platforms. I will continue to praise and contribute to KLCC.
