### 4/5 — Super good app - but

*2026-06-17, version 5.1.34*

App is great - but now a days you always get logged out and need to login again to see your saved locations…. Some developer didn’t do their job.
Fix it and it will be 5-stars.

### 2/5 — Was a great app

*2026-06-05, version 5.1.34*

Sadly having to repeatedly sign in is a pain! And register a new account does not work!
This used to be an excellent hap but sadly is now as much use as a Kleenex tissue!

### 2/5 — Sign-in has broken

*2026-05-06, version 5.1.33*

Usually very useful to confirm reactions are caused by pollen, and to plan activities or symptom prevention /treatment - however today I checked and had been logged out, there's a blank screen instead of sign-in. I will give more stars and edit when this has been fixed

### 2/5 — Useful but registration fir an account never works

*2026-04-25, version 5.1.33*

Basically a good app but attempting to register for an account simply doesn’t work: I enter my name, email address and a valid password and get told to wait for a verification email which never arrived.

### 2/5 — Used to be good app

*2026-04-21, version 5.1.33*

This used to be a good app until they removed the ability for it to auto detect or even remember your location unless you signed up and logged in. I guess they decided if they are going to produce a free app they should be able to harvest some data in return. Sign up isn’t even reliable so I haven’t done so, meaning I have to manually search for my location each time. I’m sure in time you will require a log in to even open the app.

### 2/5 — No access “temporary” error

*2026-04-16, version 5.1.26*

Hit and miss. Lots of good features – logging symptoms is easy and intuitive (and possible even retrospectively). However there are some limitations eg the level of detail as far as pollen is concerned is surface-level (tree/grass/weed is as granular as it gets) while other apps go so far as to identify individual species. Also, I often receive a temporary error that locks me on the home screen once I open the app. How useful is an app you simply can’t use when you want to?

### 2/5 — Used to be great

*2026-04-04, version 5.1.26*

Used to be a great app but now I have difficulties logging in and get stuck in a loop where it won’t allow me to reset my password. The app itself is really good! Please fix this glitch!!

### 3/5 — One tap it is not

*2026-03-09, version 5.1.25*

If you want to get the pollen count quickly, then this is not the app for you. It’s a shame as this app has great details but the constant need to log in is putting me off.

### 4/5 — Great app, login still a pain

*2026-02-26, version 5.1.22*

This app would be great if they would allow sessions to save your location instead of demanding registration. Without registration you need to find your location each time. I gave up and decided to register but got stuck at captcha phase picking out bridges for 5 mins. Kept saying an email was sent but didn’t move on or look like it had created the account. So I give up. I would give 3 stars but the app looks so nice and works so well apart from the login.. which is probs beyond the developers control and has been insisted upon by Kleenex… so we can all get emails about tissues… 🙄

### 3/5 — Has potential, but…

*2026-02-26, version 5.1.22*

This could be really helpful, however having to log in every time you use it is incredibly frustrating. It seems as if the devs are aware of the issue but have chosen to not fix it

### 2/5 — Please resolve repeated log in issues

*2026-02-25, version 5.1.22*

This app was amazing last year, however it now reports session expired every time I open the app and forced a new log in, which then lands the user into the settings page, not the home page. Additionally when trying to use the log symptoms function it fails to recognise a UK postcode. Please resolve these issues, or enable biometric login to avoid repeated need to enter username and password each time the app is opened.

### 3/5 — Have to log in and close the app daily

*2026-02-25, version 5.1.22*

Good app in that it has pollen data but I have to log in every time and then it redirects and I have to close the app and re open it for it to log me in. Also the tracking data only seems to save my symptoms and not the pollen count history so although I can see that I was symptomatic over the week I can’t see what the pollen count was yesterday even though when I logged it yesterday I could.

### 2/5 — Constantly logs out

*2026-02-24, version 5.1.22*

The app is reasonably effective, but has some annoying issues, such as the map won't locate me despite having set the access permissions, so I had to register to save a favourite instead; and the app requires me to log in every time I open it which is irritating.

### 3/5 — App has gone downhill

*2026-02-19, version 5.1.22*

Have used App for years ( as has my Mum ) . We both have iPhones and find we now have to jump through hoops to access the App . No more automatically signing in .

### 2/5 — What happened?

*2025-07-16, version 2.2*

This used to be an excellent app but since its latest update it is useless. After a few days the app content disappears. I have deleted and downloaded it again 3 times trying to resolve this issue but it continues. I have now given up

### 3/5 — Okay adverts annoyed me

*2025-05-21, version 2.1*

This is more than okay gives you all that you need, but the product placement, branding reminders (I get it it’s been developed and made by/for Kleenex) the app is suitably named, but for me personally I found it
intensely annoying and off putting. The brand is one of leading in its market and doesn’t need to push so hard. I just couldn’t get over what felt like a sakes pitch every time I opened the app. For that reason I stopped using and deleted. Found several other free apps that do exactly the same thing with no ads, product placemat or branding “reminders”

### 2/5 — Poor implementation

*2025-05-10, version 2.0*

The app doesn’t meet the latest accessibility criteria of iOS. Change the size of text or magnification within the iOS framework and the app is unusable.

The registration process (as many other reviewers have noted) is terrible.

I suspect this app was released to try and promote the developers main products (tissues). It’s poorly supported and needs a lot of TLC.

### 2/5 — Too limited

*2025-04-22, version 2.0*

The app has general titles of pollens such as trees, grass and weeds which is to narrow a band. Additionally the app assumes that people only have problems for one month in the year. This is of no use to me at all as my allergies start in March and go through to September before being low enough to reduce medication. So app has been deleted and account closed, hopefully find a useful app soon

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Won’t load

*2026-05-31, version 5.1.34*

You need to sign in or create an account for this app, but when I try and sign in it just loads and goes on a blank screen

### 1/5 — Annoying login

*2026-03-12, version 5.1.25*

I’d give it a five if I didn’t have to login every time I open the app. Also your app is not comparable with Apple autogenerated passwords - you require a symbol and more to the point it your app doesn’t recognise saved Apple passwords so it won’t auto populate with saved username and password - keep getting failed login. Your techs clearly haven’t tested this app with Apple iPhone. It’s nearly impossible to use which is a pity.

### 1/5 — Have to log in every time

*2026-03-04, version 5.1.25*

Unbearably inconvenient for what should be so simple and helpful

### 1/5 — Logs me out all the time

*2026-02-28, version 5.1.22*

Useless app logs me out all the time and doesn’t use Face ID so have to log in again both email and password says I’ve been timed out ? Would be a great app other than that

### 1/5 — Was good now bad

*2026-02-08, version 5.1.22*

Continuously logs me out. To have a location “saved” and it must be saved otherwise you have to manually type the address each time you have to be logged in. Seems odd, no idea why it can’t just show you your current location or why something as simple as saved locations needs to be linked to an email and login.

### 1/5 — Alright when it loads

*2025-07-28, version 2.2*

The information on this app is very useful- but it can’t be relied on if you have to power off and back on again to get it to load. Even that fails frequently. Not impressed.

### 1/5 — Why do I need to turn on tracking?

*2025-07-13, version 2.2*

There’s absolutely no need to use tracking for working out my location. That’s just so you can serve ads. At least be honest with what you’re doing. Deleted the app.

### 1/5 — Just for UK

*2025-06-12, version 2.1*

I searched in the map and couldn’t find any other location, they are not honest about it

### 1/5 — Broken

*2025-05-03, version 2.0*

Latest update has broken the app, barely usable.

### 1/5 — Poor

*2025-04-07, version 2.0*

Poor can’t sign in useless

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Good app but annoying with one requirement

*2026-02-16, version 5.1.22*

Very useful app and I like it a lot. Excellent amount of detail. However, hate having to log in every time I use it. What a pain. Please do away with this requirement. Surely you can simply allow me to store my home location and that’s it!! Would have been a 5 if not for the log in requirement

### 5/5 — Great app Hate signing in

*2026-02-12, version 5.1.22*

I have used this app for a few years now. I like the pollen forecast & analysis. I find it accurate & I use it daily. I reviewed previously & changes were made that made it better. The only problem I have now is signing in on an iPhone, which has become clunky. For some reason I have to sign in daily. I have to go into passwords to sign in. Then it tells me “Login successful redirecting” But it doesn’t, it hangs... So I close the app. Then open it again & now it works. Irritating though once in, its great.

### 5/5 — Most useful pollen tracker ever

*2025-07-09, version 2.2*

This app is quick and simple but it offers a more detailed breakdown of pollen types than any other source I have found so far. This 2025 season, that has helped me understand which pollens affect me most. For example I had no idea I was reacting to birch in the early season or nettle in the middle. OK it’s sponsored by a big tissue maker - but that’s fine. It’s a sensible product placement and I’m thankful they make it available free.

### 5/5 — Accurate to symptoms

*2024-10-24, version 1.0.1*

So there’s lots of pollen apps about, including weather apps. But this is the only one I check when my symptoms flare up and the analysis matches my symptoms. We are currently not in pollen season according to all other sources yet my eyes are watering and itchy like crazy. Plus other symptoms. Opened this to see what it would say and yes, weed pollen very high! I check when I’m asymptomatic too, and pollen is low. To me that is good and reliable. Means I can worry less when I get ear ache in October :)

### 5/5 — AMAZING APP!

*2024-08-07, version 1.9*

It’s free, informative and useful. What’s not to like? Thank you pollen pal and Kleenex! (Btw, what a genius idea for a brand to have an app like this)

### 5/5 — At last…!

*2024-08-07, version 1.9*

All these years I’ve been in the dark and mystified about my hay fever, now there’s finally an explanation about what’s causing it and I can prepare much better than ever before.

### 5/5 — Love this app

*2024-08-07, version 1.9*

A must for every hay fever sufferer- Easy to use and gives you clear information when and where the various pollens are active and at what level they are at. it has helped me identify what pollens cause me the problems most and helps me manage them more effectively

### 5/5 — This app is essential if you have hay fever!

*2024-08-07, version 1.9*

I find the hay fever season difficult and having this app has meant at least I know what is happening and know have a much better idea to what is causing the issues! Thank you for helping me!

### 5/5 — Easy to use

*2024-07-02, version 1.8*

This app is perfect for managing my sons severe hayfever allergy. The app allows you to pinpoint specific trees, weeds and grass in the area and the pollen count. Very useful when planning when to go outside or visit other areas.

### 5/5 — My pollen app

*2024-06-27, version 1.8*

As a chronic hayfever sufferer this app in my honest opinion is nothing short of amazing.

I have a very busy job which often makes me just get up and go so I don’t always have the luxury time to be checking the news for the pollen count etc. this app is literally a click away to give so much helpful and vital information for hayfever sufferers.

A pollen analysis based on your location for trees, weeds and grass and also gives a time frame.

I really love the recommendations it gives because there is actually a lot that could go a miss, just one of many examples is using a face mask when clearing the garden and not hanging clothing outside.

Also it gives the daily/ weekly forecast and more informative advice and knowledge about types of pollen

You can get alerts and notifications if you so wish.

I honestly have nothing bad to say about this app.
