### 3/5 — Decent

*2024-05-30, version 3.9.3*

I didn’t understand at first how you need to use 3 for a suggestion but I figured it out.The game made it really unclear though

### 3/5 — Disappointing for my specific game

*2023-03-12, version 3.9.3*

We have Clue FX, the electronic model that talks to you. Well, this app WOULD be perfect if you could change ONE THING. When you click on accusation, you should be able to click on who is accusing, and then click who showed what. In our version, you are not accusing just one person of holding 3 cards. You are accusing the whole table and anyone holding one of those 3 cards must show you that card. But this app makes you only accuse one person.

### 4/5 — Helpful companion with one big error

*2023-01-14, version 3.9.3*

Helpful to keep track of potential cards in play, understand need to show adverts. Need a mechanism to change the order that other players are being questioned in without having to reset the game

### 4/5 — Wrong number of cards in 2 player mode.

*2022-07-22, version 3.9.2*

The iPad version of the app Clued Up is fine, but Klued Up does not work right in any of the 21 card sets with 2 players. 21 cards minus 3 for the Confidential envelope leaves 18 cards. So 9 cards per player. The iPhone version seems to think you get 7. So it never calculates anything correctly, particularly rooms. It lets you enter 9 of 7 cards okay but you have to go with your gut and choose a room with 40% odds not 100%. It seems okay with 3 or 4 players. I finally bought another app for the iPhone. I used to graph all this out as a logic problem so this does beat that, but only on an iPad apparently. I was contacted by the developer, so they are responsive, kudos. On box technically the game is for 3-6 players only. 2 player version of the rules include setting aside some cards to look at when no one can prove anyone wrong, as a sort of virtual 3rd player. But the iPad and iPhone apps are still not consistent with each other. The developer said that they may put in a setting. Changing to 4 stars. We only have so many iPads and iPhones around the house when everyone is playing but this at least only effects 2 player mode.

### 2/5 — makes mistakes

*2022-05-30, version 3.9.1*

can’t undo a mistake, even the undo doesn’t completely fix problems. you need a way to edit a wrong assumption. too bad it can’t just be a electronic detective note sheet, it feels like it’s cheating. also we play with younger kids getting more clues than older players and this doesn’t work well in that scenario.

### 3/5 — Missing necessary features

*2021-12-15, version 3.7*

i got the app because it was advertised as picking up on things that go beyond the human eye. this was really helpful in terms of seeing who has seen what card, but there are some deductions that the app doesn’t make, when it really should. Specifically, when i’ve located all 3 of a player’s cards, the app doesn’t realise that and doesn’t mark all other cards as not belonging to that player, and when i’ve narrowed down their last card to 2 or 3 possibilities, the app doesn’t pick up on that and mark other cards as not belonging to that player either. It needs a system where it takes into account the number of cards each player has. at this point i’m winning quicker by just taking notes than using the app, so there’s no point using it.

### 4/5 — Note

*2021-12-06, version 3.7*

There needs to be a way to note if the magnifier card clues revealed the actual location/weapon/person

### 3/5 — Wrong guess but a great app!!!

*2021-11-27, version 3.7*

So overall this app is great, but it made the wrong guess at what the weapon was. This is a weird bug because the guess it made for the weapon IM SUREEEEE was actually a card held by me (i finished my game like 15mins ago and cant remember the exact weapon it told me). Weirdly tho, after i pressed the ok button in the dialogue box that showed me the supposed winning combination, it had the location and the person marked in red with a message saying this is the location and this is the murderer (should change the colour from red to a different colour to make it explicitly obvious that this is one of the actual cards in the pool) BUT, it didn't actually say that either of the 2 remaining weapons was the murder weapon, they were both still white and said 0% chance of it being that item.

The app for some reason i think at end of the game, changed, it recorded that a weapon held by me, was held by someone else even though throughout the whole game, the app knew (it had in green that i held this weapon and even showed me the dialogue when others made a rumour that i had that weapon available to show)

If there isnt an option for this already its also probably worth an option to report a bug in the app that would send the developer all the moves made and exact game state to help solve the bug.

Please leave me your email, and I will send you screenshots of the exact game state to help you track down this bug! Other than that, the app is great! Very well thought out and almost perfect (i tried to develop my own Cluedo prediction algorithm and couldn’t do it, so I'm really impressed by your work!!!)

### 4/5 — Clue

*2021-11-27, version 3.7*

It assume people have certain cards to early so it gets it wrong.

### 2/5 — Missing some features

*2021-04-10, version 3.6.3*

no clue card features and tries to get you to cheat

### 3/5 — I want to adjust more

*2021-03-21, version 3.6.3*

I want to be able to remove cards from play on my own. I’m smart enough to know what card is shown without having to watch an add. I did watch an ad once, it hung up on the ad for 5 minutes. I had to close the app and reopen it. Thanks. If I can make my own adjustments, I’d give 5*’s.

### 3/5 — Algorithm could be improved

*2021-02-25, version 3.6.3*

Good, but not perfect. The App should keep a record of on which number turn a player revealed a card. This would mean if Player 1 said yes to having one on Card X, Y, or Z then if on the next round Player 1 said yes again, but to having one of Card X, V, W. Then we know, Player 1 has Card X. The App does not account for this deduction.

### 3/5 — Correct about 50% of the time

*2021-02-17, version 3.6.3*

Needs the option to correct the app if the app gets it wrong.

### 2/5 — Way overpriced

*2021-02-02, version 3.6.3*

$3.49 per GAME!

The free version is useless, no better than simple cross and tick paper system, elementary stuff.

To get any more than that you have to pay EVERY SINGLE GAME!! And even then it’s not that smart, I can do just as well using a paper system in terms of inferring what must be where. I’d have thought there might be at least some strategic suggestions of what rooms to visit, what suggestions to make, or what cards to show when you have a choice. But no, it’s basic stuff.

I’m definitely not going to pay $$ every time I play a game, and the free option is pointless, so it’s in the bin for this one. 😡😡

### 3/5 — No cluedo clues

*2021-01-03, version 3.6.3*

No cluedo clues could be entered

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

*2022-01-02, version 3.9.1*
