## What is Klypp?

Klypp is a self-hosted media mover and server companion app for people who run their own home servers, NAS devices, and personal media libraries.

Klypp connects your iPhone or iPad to your own Klypp Server so you can organize, move, and monitor files you already own or are licensed to use. Your server does the work, and the mobile app gives you a simple way to manage it from anywhere.

Klypp requires Klypp Server. The mobile app does not work on its own. Install Klypp Server on a PC, NAS, or home server that has access to your media storage, then sign in from the mobile app to connect your devices.

With Klypp you can:

• Move and organize files between your server and storage locations
• Send videos, photos, and other files from your mobile device back to your home server
• Monitor transfer progress, speed, and estimated time remaining
• See active, completed, and recent transfers
• View upcoming episodes based on your own library
• Automatically clean up completed transfers
• Keep your media folders structured and easy to browse
• Run your own server scripts on demand or on a schedule
• Get push notifications when scripts succeed or fail

Klypp is built for self-hosted setups using local storage, mounted drives, and network shares. It does not provide third-party media downloads, streaming catalogs, or access to media you do not already own or have permission to use.

Klypp uses a secure relay and your Klypp account to link your mobile device to your server without requiring router port forwarding, VPN setup, dynamic DNS, or public API keys.
