## What is KM Smart Assist?

Short downtimes and an optimum process control are essential for economical production. Due to the increasing complexity, maintenance personnel and technicians need the support of experts from headquarters or from suppliers who often have to travel long distances in order to be able to provide assistance on site. 
With Smart Support  KraussMaffei has now created an innovative solution for bringing experts to the plant on an ad-hoc basis. Using a bidirectional audio and video connection, the expert guides the technician and sees everything he sees. 
This makes it possible:
- faster troubleshooting
- increase in productivity, availability and quality
- reduction of maintenance costs
