## What is KML Collection?

KML Collection is designed to import KML/KMZ map files you created onto your mobile devices. Once the map is imported, you can add new places and points of interest to the map by searching the place name, entering its address or long press anywhere on the map. KML Collection is a great tool for planning your travel.

How to Import Maps
1. Create your map using "Google My Maps" on desktop browser.
2. Export your map as a KML file.
3. Send the file to your email address.
4. Open the file on your iOS device Mail app and choose "KML Collection"

I had used this app with no problems until I got an IPhone 17. I was then unable to import a KML file after opening it in email. I sent a message to the developer and they fixed it in a day! This happened a a great app.

Please add the ability to connect additional KML/KMZ map layers so that all layers can be displayed on the map with placemarks, as well as enabled or disabled individually. Thank you.

This app worked great for me for a long time, but recently, all maps I try to import now fail with an “invalid kml” error. Is it possible the maps are now being exported with a different format and the app needs an update?

I am now able to import data from the search for sites Motorhome and export locations to Mercedes Me via Google maps. Amazing.
One improvement would be the ability to edit the titles of the imported files with a personalised name.

Simple to import a file, once done can open in app or in Apple Maps. Works really well. 
Is there are way to modify the map pins for each imported POI? Is there a way to export a map as a KML file from within this app?

**Developer response:** Hello, you can’t modify the map pins. But you can add or delete a new pin by long press on the in app map. Export is also available. These two features are in the pro version only.
