### 1/5 — First Alert 4 app in Last Place!

*2026-10-22*

Where to start? The ads are ill timed… article is about a tragic death and ad is selling life insurance. When the article is video only, it plays a video that has nothing to do with the headline that was clicked on. Then there is the so-called articles after the main headlines that use deceptive A.I. created images of senior citizens (most often wearing a military uniform) looking in distress or drinking from a mystery jar on the beach while also dressed in a military uniform… all of these go to slideshows filled with ads and nothing close to the image previewed, straight up lying clickbait! Those alone should be illegal!

### 1/5 — Slow app & Advertising

*2026-08-27, version 136.0.7*

One of the worst apps I have on my phone. It’s slow, so slow that I start to lose patience before I even get to choose from a list of news stories. And then the advertisements start - I tried to get out of 3 ads before I got back to what I wanted to watch. Love the weather app because I can readily see what I need to know.

### 1/5 — Ready to delete

*2026-08-05, version 136.0.7*

Ads starts automatically
Don’t care for

### 3/5 — App

*2026-07-08, version 136.0.6*

Whenever I hear you say that more of the story is on their app, I cannot find it. No amount of scrolling or search words work.

### 1/5 — App needs work

*2026-06-16*

Many things wrong with this app, once you click a story towards the end of the “top stories”, and you’re finished reading and click back, the app always takes you to the very top - losing where you previously were.
The custom notifications don’t work. I have “breaking news” only checked, but I receive notifications of the cardinals minor league team’s results.
Please fix!!!

This app seems to be getting worse. I click a push notification and it does NOT take me to that article. It only takes me to the app top story home page. And I can’t find the story. :(

### 1/5 — App not reading correctly

*2026-06-10, version 136.0.5*

Please fix the app

### 2/5 — Bring back the old one

*2026-05-15, version 136.0.4*

Prefer the old one better. Do not get updates or notifications, have been through my settings, have re installed too. I am die hard Channel 4 fan a not being able to notifications and getting other outlets before I get it front here … is upsetting. I have always trusted this source. If this can be fixed please assist. Thank you!

### 1/5 — Clickbait headlines

*2026-05-12, version 136.0.3*

I get it you want clicks. But every single news alert is clickbait. “Memphis Grizzlies player dies” is as example of an inappropriate time for click bait. Deleting the app.

### 1/5 — TERRIBLE APP SINCE UPDATED

*2026-05-07, version 136.0.3*

WHEN TRYING TO READ A NOTIFICATION WITH NEWS IT OPENS UP CONSTANTLY THAT MY PHONE IS RESTRICTED AND HACKED BECAUSE I VISITED MANY ADULT WEBSITES. HAVE NEVER DONE ANY OF THAT EVER!!! IT WON’T LET ME GO TO ANY OF THE NEWS STORIES. GETTING REALLY FRUSTRATED AND THINKING I MIGHT HAVE TO DELETE THIS APP IF IT CANT BE STOPPED.

### 3/5 — Needs slight improvements

*2026-05-02, version 136.0.3*

There needs to an auto play option so you can opt out. Have the option to automatically playing videos or when I can just read the story.

There’s a glitch where the stories I clicked to read or watch don’t come on. A bunch of advertisements come on and never show the story I clicked on.
