Additionally, several people of this app aren’t intentional on wanting to be friends. I downloaded it and spent time making up my profile only to be told that my application is under review. At first I thought maybe they’re just trying to make sure it’s real people signing up but after seeing I was over 10,000th in line and I could “move up” by inviting friends, I knew something was fishy. After reading other reviews my suspicions were confirmed that they are just nitpicking who they approved. Like seriously, is this highschool?? And why on earth would I invite friends? It can be pretty lonely here, when people move away or choose sides when there’s a breakup or whatever else life throws at friendship. But to apply, wait for nearly a year to get accepted, and constantly see ads encouraging everyone to join is demoralizing. Am I too old to join because I’m in my early thirties? Am I not cool looking enough? Is it my job? Not sure why I haven’t been accepted. Or maybe there’s a bug that needs to be fixed and it’s just stuck on the acceptance screen.
