The features are also somewhat limited. ### 3/5 — Better than previous version *2026-07-01, version 2.14.0* This is much better than previous app. It is much quicker at downloading your tank data and the graphic displays are better. Graph is also quicker at displaying fill value for partial day. Monthly usage is still inaccurate, especially in summer where fluctuations between daily measurements significantly influences average calculation. Better to day 1 minus day 30 value and divide by 30! Csv download would also be useful ### 2/5 — Great When it Works *2026-06-06, version 2.14.0* Looks great, brilliant when it updates. Problem is it updates every other day or every other week. I have two dongles working off different networks. Sorry I purchased them. ### 4/5 — Great at a glance review of Tank Level *2026-05-16, version 2.12.0* Works very well to check on the tank level, and the expected time for the tank to need refilling. Good to be able to see the average consumption in litres per day for the last 30 days. Would be good if there could be an enhancement to allow checking the consumption between any two dates, preferably over the last year. ie, would like to check my consumption between Nov and March, say. ### 4/5 — Average usage per day calc is wrong *2026-05-12, version 2.11.0* The app and service is much improved from the old kingspan connect that worked less than 50% of the he time. The average use figure for the last 30 days is wrong though. I can see from the chart my tank level has decreased by 300 litres in 30 days but it shows the usage as 14 litres per day (it should be around 10) ### 2/5 — Doesn’t update reliably *2026-05-08, version 2.0.10* This app is poor. The interface is bloated by unnecessary animations and weird styling without getting the basics right. One critical issue is that it doesn’t update the data when it is opened. The user has to press the refresh button to get today’s reading. The list of functions is tiny and we just need it to do that without any fluff. ### 3/5 — Getting better but more to do *2026-04-25, version 2.0.9* Needs to have more data friendly features for those of us who want to export the data and run trend analysis ourselves Also you have to jab the graph a number of times to make sure it shows you the data point you want. Would be nice to be able to roll your finger over the graph line and have a continuous readout. In the dropdown field for the tank I was unable to find the Deso 1235BT. Can you add this to your range please. Couple of feature suggestions: 1. Can you please make the consumption figure change with the period shown in the graph, i.e. over last month, 3 months and 12 months? 2. Can you please offer the ability to allow us to save the consumption to a CSV file so we can easily import into Excel, Pages etc? ### 3/5 — Why *2026-03-14, version 2.0.3* The old app worked perfectly for me. New app looks nice but it lies. Please explain why I have two different readings, one via the app and one on the email connected to the app. 45% and 60% is a huge difference. You cannot blame the weather as my tank has been at 45% for a few weeks. Talk about inaccurate, that is much more that you stated when I purchased your product ### 2/5 — Auto ‘upgrade’ *2026-03-01, version 2.0.2* I’ve just been automatically moved on to KNECT Pro from Watchman Connect. Functionality is basically the same. Early experience not great - had to force a refresh for it to show a recent delivery. And the predicted empty date still hasn’t updated? Neither was an issue with the old app. Also not yet getting notifications (which had recently been an issue with the old app). Not a great start but hopefully things will settle down… ### 4/5 — Works when it works *2026-02-02, version 1.4.6* Always appears to be a problem when the annual £30 renewal charge is due. I am an installer and think that it is about time I started trying to see what the competition are selling. It is a pity that you cannot renew through this app as opposed to going through the fuel tank shop. More clicks and more time wasted. Tried two watchman advanced sonic transmitters because serial numbers were not recognised, that didn't work. Then the app crashed and I can’t even uninstall it. I just get a blue screen with a white circle. Wished I had read these reviews before buying the Sensit. They also want a huge amount of personal information which is way overboard for just checking oil level in a tank. Eg requesting facial recognition, photos of the tank etc. Stick with the normal 3pin plug watchman device which works well. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2026-08-16* Wanted WiFi for our oil tank so we could check levels remotely. The app absolutely doesn’t work ### 1/5 — Unreliable *2026-04-01, version 2.0.6* I don’t trust readings any more since app update. Oil volume unchanged over last week despite using heating. Daily, monthly and annual usage all read the same average. Received a message to update to app version 2.0.5 when I’m already on 2.0.6 ### 1/5 — Poor *2026-04-01, version 2.0.6* Stuck on the same reading for 3 weeks in app, although somehow sends apparently live daily info to my mobile. I cannot change or even input email push notificatio. Date, so that doesn’t work. Also when trying to update the level data with ‘refresh’ it fails. I had hoped that this new app would consign my problems with the old version to the past. Just a fresh bunch of new problems. ### 1/5 — Not updating *2026-03-11, version 2.0.3* Shows that a reading has been taken when offline! - I’ve struggled to get this app to connect for months - absolutely useless, the device is going back ### 1/5 — Possibly the worst app I have ever used! *2026-03-10, version 2.0.3* That’s 2 hours of my life I won’t get back. After trying 3 devices entering passwords etc 20+ times restarting routers, devices, Android and Ios taking photos restarting the app I think I finally succeeded. The designer should be fired! Do you ever test this with users? ### 1/5 — Does not work *2026-03-05* Spent nearly an hour installing a new Watchman Advanced/Plus sensor and receiver - went absolutely fine. No such luck with the Sensit USB receiver. App is very buggy - account creation is a nightmare - if you enter an ineligible password you’ll have to force-quit and start from scratch as the password field cannot be edited. Multiple erroneous error messages about unmatched serial numbers and failure to connect to receiver (even though the receiver shows a connection is established). To top it all, once I’d successfully completed the step on the 4th or 5th try and logged in to my account I was told there was no tank registered to the account despite all my efforts. Oil tank readings can now be checked at will with a quick screen swipe down, in the previous app you would have to wait for some random time for the oil tank level to be updated. I was skeptical at first if this would be useful as it was already very easy just to read the display on the plug and know how much oil was in the tank. However, after a year of using the app I have to admit I am impressed with how simple it is to use. The estimated run out date and average liters per day data is particularly useful, especially in the winter time.
