## What is knewplace?

Hello from the creator of knewplace, I want to personally introduce you to our App.

Some of the things you’ll find when you download:

- The best Local restaurants and stores to support
- Local events happening around you
- Stuff to do when you’re bored of being stuck at home
- Hidden gems around the city that you’ve never known about
- Hiking trails, beaches and more
- Curated, hand picked places for you to experience
- Reviews from local humans and specially selected curators
- No negative reviews, only a showcase of the best in town

One of the hardest parts about traveling to a new place is finding the REAL spots everyone in town knows about, the places all the locals talk about.

That’s what started this app. Then we realized it can be something so much more than a tool only for visitors of the city.

The greatest part about being human is our ability to share, connect and grow together in community.

In a world built for isolation, let’s do more!

In case you were curious, here’s some benefits of shopping local:

- More money stays in YOUR community
- Shopping local funds public services
- It shrinks your carbon footprint
- You support your neighbors
- You keep those weird, quirky shops in business!

Research shows even a small percentage of local spending makes a huge difference!
