■ Sharpening timing by steel
Stainless, carbon steel, Damascus, ceramic — each holds an edge differently. KnifeKeep estimates the sharpening timing and gently reminds you as it approaches.

■ Spot the ones about to rust
Carbon steel and Damascus rust when left unused or wet. From the last day used, see "Cared for" or "May rust" — a nudge to wipe it or add oil.

■ Your collection, in photos
Photograph each knife and the subject is cut out automatically. Your personal collection lined up beautifully.

■ Three-stage sharpening reminders
Ahead of time (2 weeks, a few days) → on the day → and gently every day after until it's done. A dull edge is unsafe — never miss it.

■ Tips for cooks
From sharpening angle and whetstone grit to no-dishwasher and choosing a cutting board — 24 tips and a mascot make care more fun.
