## What is Knight Rise?

Knight Rise turns any chess game or position into instant study, on-device and offline. Review a finished game move by move, play the engine, play friends online, learn from scratch, and earn 104 badges. Available in English, Spanish, and French.

The engine runs entirely on your iPhone. No account required, and your analysis never leaves your device.

GAME REVIEW

Drop in any game and see exactly where it turned.

- Import by PGN, by a game link, or pick a recent game you played.
- The engine grades every move, from best to blunder, with an accuracy score per side.
- Step through move by move. The best move is shown square to square and highlighted on the board.
- Plain-language coaching explains why, with a key idea and a lesson for each slip.

NEW: Play Puzzle mode

Tap Play puzzle, pick Easy, Medium, or Hard, and the engine builds you a fresh chess puzzle on the spot. Play the position out against the engine until you convert the win or deliver mate. You will get some as White and some as Black, and the board flips to your side automatically. Solve one, then jump straight into the next.

Every puzzle you finish is now saved to your game history, so you can revisit and replay it any time. While a new puzzle is being built, enjoy the little board that shuffles your pieces into place.

Also in this update:
- Fixed a bug where a piece could get stuck after a small drag, leaving the move hints frozen on the wrong square.
- Polish and stability improvements.
