## What is Knips Music?

Knips is a clean, fast player for your own Navidrome music server. If you host your own library, Knips gives you a native iPhone player for it — no subscription catalog, no ads, just your music.

REQUIRES YOUR OWN NAVIDROME SERVER
Knips is a client, not a music service. You need a Navidrome (or OpenSubsonic) server you can reach from your phone.

- Gapless background playback with full lock-screen and Control Center controls
- Download songs, albums, artists, or whole playlists for offline listening

EDIT YOUR LIBRARY, ON YOUR SERVER (OPTIONAL)
Connect a File Browser instance and Knips can edit your music right on the server — create, rename, and delete playlists, and add or remove tracks from them — all from your phone. Your changes live on your server, not locked inside the app.

FREE — AND STAYING THAT WAY
Knips is completely free: no ads, no tracking, no paywall. If you find it useful, there's an optional link in Settings to support development and help cover the yearly App Store fee — but it's never required and unlocks nothing.

PRIVACY
Knips talks only to the servers you point it at. There's no account to create, no tracking, and no data sent to us.
