However, 2 problems. 1) Working from an ipad screen, it is impossible to mark the line you are at on a chart and, on balance, that makes it harder to follow than working from a printed version. Printing the pattern off does help, but I think maybe the A4 paper from a printer is smaller than a hard copy magazine page would be - it certainly seems so. 2) after a while, the power saver of the iPad or other similar digital reader will switch to screen saver mode, which is a nuisance when you are following a chart or single page pattern. It would be good if an index were produced annually so that subscribers can quickly locate one pattern within 12 issues. ### 4/5 — Copies of patterns *2014-07-20* I love the magazine and have the yarn to make the bretton t-shirt. However, there is no way I can print off a pattern hard copy, so couldn't take the knitting on holiday with me, and the internet receiver is playing up, so no I-pad pattern either. This is not good, as I have paid for this mag and the patterns therein. ### 2/5 — Wishing for better *2013-03-10* From the few patterns and articles I can see, I wish I could see more. This site has definite systems issues. The downloads are SLOW. The setup and usage are not at all intuitive. Perhaps I'm simply spoiled by the Vogue site but as a zine this should be as easy as picking up a booklet to leaf through and get inspired. ### 5/5 — Love it! *2013-02-09* Great app, mag looks glossy on screen, easy to zoom in articles. Love the extra images you get in the gallery. And it's with me all the time! All round fab! ### 5/5 — Quality and inspiration *2013-02-08* Knitting magazine offers fashionable and on trend patterns for all levels of knitters. The designs are beautifully photographed and the patterns are easy to follow. Every issue also has interesting and informative articles on everything from the latest catwalk trends to the historical development of the craft. However, it is the worst of all the apps I have: it keeps crashing, occasioanlly then stop loading at all. Then you ahve to reload it and download all your magazines again. Various versions of isos have mage no diference, getting new I apd has made no difference. Now I have a pattern on one of the issues which I want to use, but can I get to it? No! It is permanently frozen, I suspect I need to delete the apps and re-install...too fed up to stick with this, going back to hard back! ### 1/5 — App constantly crashes *2016-06-14* I'm a subscriper for some time, but the app crashes all time and is therefore completely useless. Also in having the ability to see some of the pictures in a 360 view, but also to be to go right to the website by clicking on the link in the article.
