Even the half hitch is blocked for people who have already paid for the app. Other apps provide 3D animations and don’t require you laborious flipping to see the results. I understand maintaining these apps takes time, effort, and money, but to start charging a recurring fee for info that is readily available for free on many other apps, not to mention the internet, nah don’t think so. This is not mentioned up front. I paid for the app and then was immediately confronted with locked-out content and subscription options. Knocked a couple stars off and removed app because of this bait and switch maneuver. There has never been an application that I have found that there is not a knot been able to fulfill with this guide. If you are looking for a compilation of most every knot ever then stop looking. You have now found it. Also, there are updates every so often to keep this guide current and up to date. One of the 1st apps that I purchased, it has the right knot for almost any situation. I was once stuck in deep sand with a 6000lb Tug aircraft mover. We brought our 10,000lb Eagle and heavy rope. Just as we were going to pull it with a “clusterF knot”, somebody who knew knots arrived. He asked, “How are you going to untie that?” I had planned to just cut the nylon triple wound rope when he unlashed the CF knot and tied a “I don’t remember what he called it” knot under the beams of the headlights. With both equipment at full throttle, the rope straining almost to breaking point, we pulled/drove out of the sand. Our Rope Savior simply “broke” the knot in half with his hands and it just fell apart; loose and easily untied. I’m looking for that knot right now in this latest version.
