Show times, events, etc don’t display specifics. It says “wait times will display while you’re in the park”. Well we’re here walking through the park with a blank map showing no wait times and the same message. The best thing to do is filter the list but even then it doesn’t show the actual times. What is this thing good for? Like my fiancée wanted to see a show so I filtered it to shows only, however it generated a long list of shows filled mostly by ones that weren't even happening today. They should add an additional filter so I can just see what shows are happening today without having to scroll through a long list of irrelevant items. ### 3/5 — Needs work. *2025-07-05, version 8.4.16* Obviously there is a drastic difference between a Cedar Fair/Six Flags park and a Disney park, but there are some things that CF/SF could pick up on to make this app actually useful. 1. Wait times when not in the park. This is useful AND would help with park crowding. Who wants to pay to park and walk to the front gate if lines are 2+ hours? It also helps with planning out your day before you get into the park. This is a MUST! 2. Better UI. When opening the “explore” tab you are bombarded with every ride, store, character, everything all at once. Some much that you can’t even see the map. Take a tip from the mouse people and streamline how things are displayed upon starting the app, maybe only rides or WAIT TIMES are shown from the start then each user can search for their specific need. 3. If you are utilizing GPS to give me wait times, then at least show me where I am in the park when I open the map. I know the old west is the theme of a big chunk of KBF, but let’s not resort to old west map charting skills. I should have to figure out where a non map listed monument is, cross reference with the position of the sun and wager I’m heading in the right direction. Just give me a dot on the map so I know where I am. Pass integration is good, and the ability to take your picture BEFORE YOU GO TO THE PARK is an incredible time saver. Park cell service is hit and miss, so you might not be able to use the app in some places. All in all, it’s handy. I requested a password reset code to my registered email and it didn’t go through. Apple didn't save a password for me, and knots berry wouldn't allow me to fill my password, then when I try to change it it didn't acknowledge it. Some are displayed, some are not and the times posted are not the same as what the signs say at the rides themselves - it should be regularly updated. Example: La Revolucion in app said 45 minute wait, sign posted said 60 minutes, and we waiting for an hour and a half. 2 stars for the map/walking directions and descriptions of the restaurants. Tried to create a new account and never received code. Then it said “somethings not working”. Really? Went to buy park passes at Disneyland instead. More expensive which I was trying to avoid, but zero problems. Bye Knott’s! ### 1/5 — Useless app *2025-10-19, version 8.4.20* Doesn’t function, headache to create an account and/or use for passes which is only feature app would have been useful for. ### 1/5 — Garbage app *2025-09-28* Hey Knott’s, when are you going to fix your app? It cannot figure out when you’re in the park. I am literally standing here in line to buy food and it still won’t tell me the wait time on any of the rides. Also, the app won’t save your password when you create an account. So you end up having to re-create and reset your account time after time. Can you guys please update the app to use the latest software? It’s not that much to ask considering how much we pay for tickets here. ### 1/5 — Somehow…it got worse? *2025-09-28* I was optimistic that they were just working out some kinks, I hoped for years that improvements were just around the corner, but every year this app gets worse. The map is so confusing, when you zoom out, it condenses multiple points together into a single numbered point and even when you zoom in all the way, it doesn’t separate them into individual points. They still haven’t fixed the scheduling display for scary farm, if the event goes until 2am, it needs to display all the show times for that event “day”! It still shows midnight from the night before and doesn’t show any of the showtimes after midnight until you search the next day. By far the least legible event app I’ve ever used! Please bring back paper maps/schedules until this app is usable. ### 1/5 — Season Pass not Working *2025-09-25, version 8.4.18* Would be good except the season pass look up not working with the code or name and birthday. It would take forever to go to the next step BUT if you select to buy all these add ons and etc that you really don’t want THEN IT WOULD GO TO THE NEXT STEP ASAP. I tested this many times and it was always the same case. So basically they try to force you to buy add ons on purpose in order to get to the next step. I love their big rides a lot. My favorite ride is hangtime but it’s sad that they closed xcelorator I never got to get on the ride but I really want to go on it but they closed it. Although it was very fun! I have three little ones one 36 in and two 42 I hate looking around and trying to find the height requirements for each and every ride but with the app I don’t have to show the kids the rides they can’t go on! Secondly as a meal plan holder Knowing what food stations accept the dinner plan is a plus but what really makes it worth it is the fact it tells you what meals are included in each location. No more running around trying to figure it out. It also stores my pass and add ones so I don’t have to search for my pass every time I need to scan it. Only improvement is separate the add ons per pass and weight time in rides... but let’s be honest kids don’t care about wait time the know what rides they like ### 5/5 — Worked for me *2018-10-24, version 7.7.1* A lot of the reviews said that it sucked and that the wait times were inaccurate.
