So when I look up “Pharmacology” the only things that show up are “P+P” and “P”. Very frustrating as I tried to circumvent this issue by going in the browser version, but on the iphone it has no way to allow the user to log in. Seems like they only allow you to download the app and use it from there, which is broken. ### 3/5 — Ai is so dumb *2026-08-03, version 3.18.0* I got the question right, it told me i was wrong but then when i clicked “explain why” it told me i had answered correctly but still marked it wrong?? ### 4/5 — Fix needed *2026-08-02* For spaced repetition, if I don’t finish all of the reviews in one session it usually loses all the progress I made and I have to completely redo it. Whenever I search for a flashcard set (ex. "Mathematics"), it acts as though I only typed in the first letter (ex. "M"), and when I redo the search it works as normal ... but then after clicking on a couple flashcards it does the same exact thing again! It was simple & easy to use. But TWO DAYS BEFORE THE TEST, Knowt PUT UP A PAYWALL. And not a cheap one either, a $150 purchase. For a feature I already had a set plan on. I found it because I was fed up with quizlet trying to take every penny out of students in order for them to study. I began Knowt in grade 10 and I am now going into my first year of university and I am excited because I finally bought the premium version. Although it’s not required and I used the free version with no issues and all awesomeness for 2 1/2 years I really wanted to utilize the podcast feature and it was a game changer! I also loved getting my free choice of merch with the yearly subscription and it’s an amazing product. I have gotten over 10 of my friends and classmates to use this study platform because I rave about it all the time. Ran into a few bugs trying to use the web version to create terms and later study using the app. Also, the AI voice changes by itself even though I’ll have the voice set, for an example, Spanish and it’ll default to the English voice on some terms, not all. Other than that, I like it and looking forward to improvement! Thank you ### 5/5 — Great Features Without The Paywall *2026-07-27* I originally planned to use Anki, but I didn’t want to use spaced repetition all the time. Unfortunately, it can’t simply be turned on or off, so I decided to give Knowt a try, and I’m glad I did. Knowt does exactly what I was looking for. Spaced repetition is completely optional, which gives me the flexibility I wanted. I also love the variety of study modes and question types. The app is very intuitive and easy to use, and it’s simple to track your progress. One of my favorite features, especially for language learning, is the speaker button that lets you hear words pronounced in the target language. It’s incredibly helpful, and the pronunciation is surprisingly accurate. The customization options are also excellent. I really appreciate that you can turn off the gamification pop-ups. I personally found them distracting, so having the option to disable them made the experience much more enjoyable. Best of all, the app is free. You can create as many flashcards and questions as you want without running into limits. There are ads, but that’s completely understandable considering everything the app offers for free. I honestly have nothing to complain about. Overall, Knowt is an excellent study app, and I highly recommend it. A huge thanks to the developers and everyone who helped create such a great app! ### 5/5 — Worth The Money *2026-07-14, version 3.16.0* I have no issue paying $24 a month if it means I do well in my classes! I use it to record my lectures and then take practice tests based on what my professors teach- thank you knowttt!
