### 3/5 — Way too many ads now

*2026-06-06, version 2.3.0*

I love to scroll on this app when I have my social media bricked. I used to use it a ton a couple months ago and the ads were totally tolerable. I’d expect one after I viewed a pattern I’d bought and then some other random ones. But now in the span of 10 minutes i’ll get 3 or 4 ads when I’m just browsing. It’s making me was to spend a lot less time on it. Please change this back to the way it was.

### 2/5 — If you ask me for a review one more time

*2026-06-04, version 2.3.0*

It’s one star.

### 4/5 — So helpful

*2026-05-26, version 2.2.1*

I love this app. My only complaint is the recent annoying ads the pop up from horrible games.

### 4/5 — Ravelry: better than nothing at all

*2026-04-25, version 2.2.0*

It’s a little awkward where they have things, but it’s better than not having an app. Need to put in an entry for hook size when doing a new project.

### 5/5 — Love!!!

*2026-03-24, version 2.2.0*

So helpful to have my patterns always with me and easy to look up when I’m shopping for my stash. I also love that when I can get organized it will help me organize and manage my yarn.

### 3/5 — Kinda ok

*2026-02-15, version 2.1.2*

Nice aesthetic, automatically imports your data from Ravelry; patterns and yarn stash. The layout for scrolling through your patterns/ stash is really nice when compared to Ravelry 🤮No way to import patterns you own. I did not see a stripe or pattern generator nor a row counter.

### 3/5 — Français

*2026-02-09, version 2.1.2*

Une traduction en français serai tellement agréable je serai prête à payer le double juste pour l’avoir en français

### 3/5 — Overall good

*2026-02-08, version 2.1.2*

Found a pattern I loved to find out it was written poorly and would like the app to feature a search function where I can see designers I do like and less of poorly written patterns.

### 5/5 — Amazing!

*2026-02-08, version 2.1.2*

Brilliant companion app for Ravelry website, much more user friendly than the website and fulfills all my pattern library needs now I can add my own pdfs locally. Like the new bundles function.

### 5/5 — New knitter

*2026-01-11, version 2.1.0*

I got rid of social media and swapped it out for this app and have been loving using it before bed to save future projects

### 5/5 — New update

*2026-01-10, version 2.1.0*

Love the new update!

### 2/5 — New updates took a turn for the worse

*2026-01-10, version 2.1.0*

The app has been reorganized in a totally inefficient and non-intuitive way. It’s difficult to get to notebook pages (e.g., favorites page, which I use a lot). Missing some functionality, like creating a new bundle in favorites.

More importantly, the full-page ad popups make the app practically unusable. They stay up for varying lengths of time and don’t have a standard close button; many employ “dark patterns” like using a fake X button that actually opens the page being advertised. I understand that apps cost money to develop and maintain, and I wouldn’t have minded smaller ads or popups that are easier to close, but this particular ad design choice feels predatory. I will not be giving this developer any money and am instead switching to Ravit.

### 4/5 — Mending

*2026-01-02, version 2.0.6*

I love this apps organisation by being able to label projects as finished, hibernating and work in progress. I would love to suggest the addition of a “mending” status so that I can organise which ones of my knits are currently needing to be altered/mended.

### 4/5 — Ravelry: better than nothing at all

*2025-12-27, version 2.0.6*

It’s a little awkward where they have things, but it’s better than not having an app. Need to put in an entry for hook size when doing a new project.

### 3/5 — Decent, but too many ads

*2025-12-27, version 2.0.6*

This app is a nice way to access your Ravelry account. It’s easy to search for patterns and inspiration with nice filters.
The biggest drawback is the amount of ads that cannot be closed or skipped. The app is nice for convenience on your phone or tablet, but if I am home and near my computer, I now always choose the laptop/website over this app. The ads are too incessant.

### 5/5 — Helpful!

*2025-12-26, version 2.0.6*

Makes navigating Ravelry so much easier.

### 4/5 — Solid

*2025-12-24, version 2.0.6*

Reliable and my go to

### 4/5 — Too many ads but works well

*2025-12-08, version 2.0.6*

See title.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Uses AI Art

*2026-08-03, version 2.4.0*

An app made for artists using AI art :-( lazy and hypocritical

### 1/5 — AI Art

*2025-12-29, version 2.0.6*

Deleted this app the second I opened it the first time and saw the AI art on the loading page.

### 1/5 — Updates

*2025-11-18, version 2.0.6*

Recent update is horrible. Took away ability to see pattern details in the app (basic things like # of colors, recommended yarn, fiber type and more). I now have to open the web browser on my phone to learn anything useful about a pattern I’m considering. Please fix this!

### 1/5 — Hmm

*2025-10-21, version 2.0.0*

It just shows you patterns that are on Ravelry, but there’s an ad every two clicks. Just use the website for free.

### 1/5 — So many ads now

*2025-09-20, version 1.10.10*

I used to love this app but I returned today and you can’t scroll much at all before being interrupted by an ad.

### 1/5 — Uses AI

*2025-08-22, version 1.10.10*

Imagine being an app that allows people to make their own creations and still using AI

### 1/5 — Don’t download this

*2025-08-11, version 1.10.10*

I tried putting up with the free version of this app for a few days despite the constant randomly mixed in ads and then have giant pop ups blocking your screen you can’t close for an allotted time with low quality videos trying to sell you Adobe. They want a subscription fee of $6/year to make the app useable. Save yourself the hassle and buy Ravit for $5 one time and get rid of all the ads with a cleaner interface

### 1/5 — AI Generated

*2025-06-08, version 1.10.8*

It’s so ironic that someone who developed an app for artists and creatives would use AI generated images in all the marketing and icons. In the ‘art’ of the woman ‘knitting’ she has a third needle sticking out of her arm and four fingers. It’s clear whoever made this doesn’t care for the community and is just trying to monetize whatever they can. If you’re going to cater with artists, the bare minimum you can do is respect the craft enough to hire someone to create your images. It’s pure laziness.

### 1/5 — Frustrated

*2025-03-25, version 1.10.8*

I download the app and I can’t even log in to my account?

### 1/5 — WHY THE USE OF AI GENERATED SLOP?!?

*2025-03-06, version 1.10.8*

I just downloaded the app and I instantly noticed the terrible ai generated images during the introduction and sign up process. You have so many talented artists that could’ve made actual artwork and ui for your app and ai is what you choose. Come on!! In a community based off of human creativity and talent this is disappointing.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2026-07-02, version 2.3.5*

I use this app almost every day, and while it’s no substitution for the desktop app, it’s a fantastic option to find patterns and keep up with friends and other knitters!

### 5/5 — one suggestion

*2026-06-15, version 2.3.1*

amazing app! just wish there was a way to keep track of time and sessions

### 5/5 — Love it!!

*2026-06-08, version 2.3.1*

Love this app! If you use Ravelry or want patterns for knitting/crocheting this is it! The UX design is great! It so easy to search different patterns and yarns and favorite things I want to circle back to. They update it all the time too and are constantly improving it. I love it.

### 5/5 — Totally worth it, my favourite tool as a new knitter

*2026-05-29, version 2.3.0*

I’ve been using kntd for about three months now and didn’t think to review until today with the newest update. It’s amazing, I wouldn’t use Ravelry nearly as much as I do without it and I’ll only use the website to buy the patterns these days. I love scrolling and liking patterns à la Pinterest and use all of the tools everyday. It’s an awesome complement to Ravelry.

### 5/5 — Easy to use for beginners

*2026-05-21, version 2.2.1*

Came across this app recommended in a fb group and it was not talked about much and not people use it and I don’t know because as a beginner it’s a lifesaver and keeps me on top of my WIPS

### 5/5 — I love genuine patterns!!

*2026-05-17, version 2.2.1*

This is a direct link to Ravalry. There is no AI slop there. I swear by this app and the Ravelry website.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2026-05-16, version 2.2.1*

Easy to use and always works

### 5/5 — Love this app

*2026-05-02, version 2.2.0*

Ai free and a great place to get patterns. Used this app for an engagement gift.😁😁

### 5/5 — This app has ruined my revelry experience

*2026-04-27, version 2.2.0*

I can’t even operate ravelry on my laptop because it’s not as intuitive as this app, so thank you for that!!!

And just pay to get rid of apps. You won’t regret it. And you have no idea what goes behind all the developers work. That’s the least we can do 🥲

### 5/5 — Makes Ravelry usable on the go

*2026-04-13, version 2.2.0*

I love this app! Improvements being made all the time and is a helpful scrolling replacement for social media. Love love love
