## What is KNX Pro Tester?

Your control center for the KNX system.
KNX Pro Tester turns your iPhone and iPad into a complete remote and a professional tester tool for the KNX bus. Connect your installation, import your ETS project, and in minutes you have a tailor-made interface ready to use.

Get going in seconds — controls build themselves
Bring your ETS project into the app: no group addresses to type by hand. The app automatically recognizes lights, dimmers, blinds and venetian blinds, thermostats, scenes and colors, and prepares ready-to-use controls.

Connect any installation
Talk to the bus via a KNXnet/IP interface or router, over tunneling or multicast, including KNX Secure systems. The Utility tab gives you real tester diagnostics: watch the bus live and verify your devices.

Organize it your way
Group controls into rooms/areas with custom backgrounds and a floor-plan view. The Home brings together Favorites, Sensors, Categories, Active devices and Rooms — show only what you need.

One tap, many commands
Build group commands and scenes: macros that fire several commands in sequence with a single tap, from widgets and Apple Watch too.

Cameras included
Add your IP cameras' RTSP streams next to your controls, inside rooms and full-screen.

Your controls, everywhere
Widgets on the Home Screen, Apple Watch, CarPlay, and Siri voice commands. With the built-in local Web Server, open the same interface in a browser from any PC or tablet on your network.

New — Secure remote access with a dedicated VPN
Reach your KNX system from anywhere, safely. Import your VPN configuration file (WireGuard or OpenVPN) and the app opens an encrypted tunnel scoped to the app, widgets and Apple Watch — the rest of your phone's networking stays untouched. The VPN also covers your cameras, so you can reach streams on private addresses.

Your data, protected
Manage multiple installations, back up and restore your configuration anytime, with automatic backups and iCloud sync. The full guide and video guide are always at hand in Settings.
