After you upload pictures you can’t change them unless you delete the whole batch. Very clunky. Try a different brand of frame. ### 3/5 — Ok- not great *2025-12-20, version 2.3.0* To start- frames are nice and got a good deal on them. The good- was easy to connect to Internet , and image quality is good. The bad- the app is not good. For a brand like Kodak- a lot is riding on The name. The app fails after about 10 pictures. Can not transfer photos from a MacBook as doesn’t recognize it as an external device via usb. Having to bind the frame to an app , but looks like can add a second frame in app but can not actually rename it other than a number . I used to be able to see my whole camera roll now I only see my albums. Two people Advanced college degrees Both in mid 70’s. ### 1/5 — Bad app for a disappointing piece of hardware *2025-01-11, version 1.6.0* An underpowered and buggy app— but you’ll have to wade through fake positive reviews to find that out. You can only upload 10 photos at a time and changes to position/orientation etc have to be done on the frame touchscreen (and the frame itself is glitchy and hard to use — if you’re going to give it to an older relative I would steer well clear). Nightmare. I sent it back. ### 2/5 — Great idea, terrible implementation *2025-01-05, version 1.6.0* Being able to wirelessly upload photos to the frame is a great idea. However, this is one of the worst account creation processes I’ve gone through: - when you switch away from the app to get the verification code from email, the app very quickly resets and requires you to start over again. - There seems to be a character limit when you login, which encourages you to use short, insecure passwords (eg, a 6-digit number). - Worse, the password character limit is only on the login page, and not the password creation page, so you won’t realize your password is not typeable until you try to login. KODAK, please update this app to meet modern standards for account management. ### 1/5 — Don’t be fooled by the fake reviews *2024-12-25, version 1.6.0* If you look at the 5 star reviews, they’re all clearly fake. Don’t be fooled, this app is a heaping pile of garbage. The first step is to register, which requires sending a security code to an email. They never sent a code, so I could never register. I tried a few times, no luck. It’s also baffling you can only upload 10 photos at a time, but I never got that far. 🤣 ### 1/5 — Cheap *2024-12-25, version 1.6.0* Everything about this frame and app scream cheaply made. ### 2/5 — Needs improvement *2024-12-24, version 1.6.0* The app only allows you to upload up to 10 photos at a time. It would be so much better if you could upload entire albums at once or at least select more than 10 photos. It’s also glitchy and keeps crashing about every minute or two as I’m trying to choose photos to upload. I’m using an iPhone 14 Pro. Other than those two issues it does seem to work ok. I shouldn’t have to use a translation app to see the issues I am having. No issue on my part. My network works great until I click to delete my account. Do yourself a favor and don’t download this. ### 1/5 — Useless *2026-01-03, version 2.3.1* App is clumsy and mostly in Chinese language. Does not enable you to complete registration for an account. To start, you have to register which is a near impossibility as the registration code expires well before any normal email system gets the email to you. If you actually do manage to register and login, then you are cockblocked by the apps inability to actually connect to the frame. The frame cannot be found using the wr code and typing in the 9 digit number gets you an “incorrect number” error despite the fact that it is correct. My suggestion is to save yourself several headaches and just return the frame and get a different brand. ### 1/5 — 1.7.0 Update *2025-06-17, version 1.7.0* Since the update, I am unable to upload images from my camera photos. I have double-checked my settings and full access to photos is active. ### 1/5 — Useless app but the fake reviews are comical *2025-06-14, version 1.7.0* I’m using the frame but have deleted the app as it’s incredibly buggy and won’t let me sign in most of the time. But I would recommend reading the 5 star reviews. Most are clearly fake and make no sense. The Kodak Digital Frame software was also a great tool to accompany the frame. Highly intuitive and full featured product without the 3rd party cloud requirements with in app purchases.
