I was excited to use it as one of the options in GitHub’s’ student developer pack. However, it will not let me activate that offer. What makes things worse is the inability to enable their server as a data source (a main component of being able to use the software). After reaching out several times to no avail, I am going to assume the app is no longer supported. It really should be taken down. ### 1/5 — Absolute con *2024-12-03* Makes no mention that this app only allows you to test apps you make in the iPad or Mac - therefore it is mostly useless and they charge you £10 for it. No good to me as I don’t have an iPad or a Mac. I’ve had a lot of fun developing on this software and I think it has a great future ahead of it. If you’re on iPhone, you can only preview apps you’ve made. ### 2/5 — Doesn’t work on iPhone *2021-03-16* I am only rating this app 2 stars as an iPhone app. This app shouldn’t be in the App Store for iPhone. Or if if is it should have a warning not compatible with your device and not be downloadable. When you open this app it does say that you can only preview apps on your iPhone. It is clear and to the point. Which is why I am giving it two stars instead of just one. If you do not have a Mac or iPad then you can not use this app. Since I don’t have either this app is useless to me even to preview an app. I will update my review if I can figure out how to run a macOS Virtual Machine on my PC and run the program so I can properly test this app on my iPhone. ### 5/5 — Incredible *2021-02-25* Does everything it says. I got in with Kodika at launch and they continue to pump out awesome updates. Now with the Mac desktop app it’s even better. This truly is one of the only full blown app makers out there right now that is worth anybody’s attention. ### 5/5 — Outstanding. *2021-02-25* As a 14 year old, developing an app can seem challenging and scary, especially without any background knowledge or experience in actual coding. Kodika allows you to develop apps without any prior coding experience and provides tutorials for most of the basic app features. You can ask a question and they will have someone respond within 24 hours. I am looking forward to developing my first app with Kodika and think that Kodika is extremely underrated when it comes to app developing software. I would suggest that Kodika should add a feature where Kodika Pro Users could work with more experienced Kodika users or developers to help make and guide less experienced users to make apps their first apps.
