## What is KoeTra?

The method of communication between those with normal hearing and those with hearing impairments generally takes a written form. However, because this may take time or be burdensome, the hearing impaired may not get the information that they need.

"KoeTra"  supports smooth communication by utilizing both speech recognition and speech synthesis technology.

1)Input by speech is available
You can input speech even without typing on the keyboard
・You can easily have a conversation with someone who does know sign language
・Even those who aren't used to text input can easily use it

2)Words can be expressed as speech
Get your point across even if the other person doesn't read the text.
・The conversation will progress smoothly by expression with speech
・You can have a conversation with a visually impaired person"

3)Anyone can easily use it
Even those who are not used to smart phones can easily respond.
・ Even first timers can use it intuitively by only pressing buttons
・You can get your point across by expressing information using drawings or maps

4)Register and use fixed phrases
By registering phrases that are used often as fixed phrases, they can quickly and easily be recalled.
・The trouble of inputting is saved by just selecting the fixed phrase
・By organizing them into categories, the fixed phrase that you want to use can be smoothly selected.
・As there is a feature to arrange them according to convenience, they can be set to suit you.

5)Express things like feelings, or even seasons, using stamps 
Things such as feelings can be expressed to others using stamps
・ Word input can be reduced by using stamps
・There are an abundance of stamp categories, such as "Seasonal Items", "Cat", "Lion", etc.

6)Connect multiple devices and have a conversation
If multiple devices connect mutually, you can participate in a conversation with each device
・Even people who are deaf, or people who don't know sign language can connect using their own device and have a conversation at the same time
・By connecting with your own device, you can use the fixed phrases that you yourself have created.
・The conversation history is saved on each individual device.
