## What is Kofi The Monkey?

Bedtime doesn't have to be a battle.

Kofi The Monkey turns your child's wind-down into a calm, predictable routine they can look forward to - guided by Kofi, a gentle monkey companion with a soft voice and endless patience.

Built with sensory-sensitive children in mind, and gentle for every child.

HOW IT WORKS
- You set the routine once: bedtime tasks, calming exercises, sounds, and pace.
- Each night, Kofi guides your child step by step: brush teeth, pajamas, then calming exercises like star breathing and squeeze-and-floppy.
- The screen slowly dims to near-dark while a soft soundscape plays, easing your child toward sleep.

WHY FAMILIES STAY
- The same warm voice, the same order, every single night - predictability that helps busy minds settle.
- Coins and a personal star sky reward showing up, never punish a hard night.
- Dress Kofi in outfits your child unlocks - motivation they actually feel.
- Eleven offline stories in Kofi's calm voice, plus personal stories you create around your child's favorite things.
- A morning check-in and gentle progress view help you nudge bedtime earlier, 15 minutes at a time.

CALM BY DESIGN
- Low-sensory mode, reduce-motion mode.
- No ads. No social features. No chat. Nothing to doomscroll.
- Works offline at bedtime once set up.

PARENTS STAY IN CONTROL
- Everything grown-up lives behind a parent passcode: settings, progress, story creation, rewards management, and subscription.
- You choose exactly what data is saved, and you can delete it anytime, in-app. See our privacy policy: https://kofithemonkey.com/privacy/

Kofi The Monkey is built by a small family, not a big company. We use it with our own child every night.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.0.4 — 2026-09-13

Kofi has more little ways to say hello. Tap for a gentle response, or touch and hold for a happy moment.

A new bedtime scene helps Kofi switch off his lamp and settle under his blanket. Reduced-motion settings are respected.

All eleven bedtime stories have clearer, louder narration while keeping their slow pace and peaceful endings. The calm default voice is shared across stories, routines and previews, with your volume and speed choices preserved.

Includes faster animated arrivals and the improved wardrobe fit. Downloaded stories continue to work offline.

### 1.0.3 — 2026-09-10

A small polish update from the Kofi family:

- Fresh App Store screenshots that show Kofi as he looks tonight - including the star sky, where every calm night lights a new star on the road to 1000 nights.
- The subscription screen's Privacy Policy and Terms links now open properly from Settings.
- Kofi The Monkey is now published by Ruby A&A Ventures LLC - same small family, same app, now with its company name on the door.

Sweet dreams.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-09-03

Kofi's first update - a big round of polish for calmer nights:

- A smoother start: you create your account at the end of setup, after your child's plan is built.
- Six bedtime stories now come built in and play offline, in Kofi's own voice.
- Kofi feels more alive - sleepy eyes, a gently swaying tail, and softer wind-down pacing.
- A clearer subscription screen: the free trial is shown only when the App Store confirms you are eligible.
- Fixes for signing in on a new device, rewards, and coins - everything always adds up.

Sweet dreams from the Kofi family.
